Dr. Derrick James Todd, MD

It's abandonment pure and simple. I have been a pt. of his for almost 2 years. I found him kind and attentive and trusted him. Recently labs were sent to him that showed a potential problem and could influence my weekly meds. He never contacted me. On my last visit he had told me not to try to reach him on Pt. Gtway because there were too many to read. That was disturbing. He said to call if I needed him but sometimes his office doesn't answer. I sent 2 pt. gateways, however and then called him,left msgs in one office and tried to get other office staff to have him call twice. I tried 4 times throughout the day bec. I knew he wouldn't call and he never did. Tried to page the person on call for an answer but the page goes to your own doctor but I did an emergency page anyway. I was told he would likely not call back and he didn't. Tried again today and also worked but now am finding a new dr. Do not go to this man who doesn't care abt. his patients.How can he look in the mirror?

I’ve been seeing Dr. Todd for several years. I have a complicated medical history. He’s not only gone out of his way to help, even consulting my other doctors and checking in on me. Highly recommend

Very odd doctor unprofessional. Doctor seemed more concerened about my personal life than my medical issues.

He is amazing! I have been seeing doctor Todd for a little over 9 years now.

After battling rheumatology issues for years and being a mystery to my current rheumatologist, I decided to go to him for a 2nd opinion. He was rude, didn't listen, said I was overweight and depressed after knowing me for less than 10 minutes, and left the room with me crying telling me to have a good day. He didn't bother to do any blood work, talk about different medication options, or take me seriously at all.

Poor bedside manner, talks over you, doesn't make eye contact, poor follow up, no diagnosis.

This guy is so pompous!! He could care less about your problems...VERY dismissive.......would not spend any time discussing what could be causing symptoms. I was there less than FIVE minutes - I swear - he never invited me to sit and talk with him - he stood at his computer (with one foot out the door). I will NEVER go back to him and you shouldn't either!!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Todd as a physician! He is very thorough and doesn't let anything slip by.

Depending on the time of the appointment is weather you wait or not. He is a good Doctor, but some times he acts like he isn't listening to me or doesn't care about what I have to say. He goes directly to his computer and does not look at you once he has examined me.So if you try to talk to him, he keep typing and it seems like you are being igorned.
