my appointment me was at 10:45 am I arrived to his office at 10:25am and now it’s 1:31pm still I not see the doctor shah yet and the stuff they don’t care about patients I feel bad for elders

I went to shaw's clinic for hepC treatment , and to diagnose and treat a chronic nasal sore. I only saw him once b4 being pawned off to nurse practioners and a PA who told me I could have gotten syphallus from a doorknob, and my conflicting bloodwork could be explained by my body fighting it off by itself (while I had hepC!) This facility, "CIDS", screwed up everything from day one, starting with losing all the forms and medical history I spent two hours filling out on the initial visit. I was thrilled that they had on-site bloodwork, but every time the orders got mixed up, lost or mistaken. I am very concerned about the chain of custody in their lab! And the nurse either doesn't have the proper education or concern for hygiene. They told me they were the only place in Las Vegas that treats hepC- which I'm sure is not true. AND when I needed penicillin shots, they tried to make me go to the County, like public assistance., where you have to be treated first-come-first-serve with… no appt, in spite of me having two valid insurance policies! THEY'RE AN INFECTIOUS DISEASE FACILITY! WHAT AM I PAYING THEM FOR?

He diagnosed me with Lyme and I was under his care for about a year including extensive daily infusions. I consulted three other doctors who said I did not have Lyme. The relied on the tests recommended by the CDC, which Shah did not follow. I believe that he is more concerned with money than medical practices. I have filed a complaint with the Board of Medical Examiners hoping they could monitor this practice to avoid other misdiagnosis and hold him to the accepted medical practices as outlined by the CDC.

Dr. Shah listened to all my concerns and answered them in detail. im very happy with treatment & service at CIDS clnic. Thank you for helping me

I had a very complex case. at first. I saw. Dr Shah thereafter. I say his PAs. I found everyone. Very knowledgeable and competent.

Well, I was referred to HIM, Dr. .Shah. I went expecting to see Dr. Shah. Nurse Jenny came in and although she did spend over an hour with me explaining things, It was a very serious diagnosis (supposedly), I wanted to see the Doctor himself. One of my other Doctors even said I should see Dr. Shah, not the nurse. I tried to get an appointment with him for over a month, by the time they gave me an appt. with Dr Shah after several phones calls explaining why I should see him and not the nurse I had lost confidence and interest in going back there.

I got discharged from hospital with lot of questions about my illness but none of the doctor was able to tell me clearly. Dr. Shah looked at all of my medical records and told me clearly about my infection as well as treatment plan. I got my wound care, IV antibiotics and labs all done at one place. Doctor have very good bedside manner and have very kind staff. I think this is one of my best experience dealing with a doctor who genuinely cares for his patients.
