Find another Doctor! Beware patients, if you scheduled an appointment and you are running a few minutes late she (Dr Boykin) does not have a grace period. She does not care if you are having car trouble, if there is bad traffic, if you’re coming from the other side of the world! She won’t even ask why you were late. She is the most insensitive, dry personality, nonchalant doctor I’ve ever come across. I should have stopped coming a few years ago once I moved but since I’m familiar with her I stayed. I had an appointment today at 730 am. This office is located in Catonsville off of Baltimore national pike and I live in whitemarsh. I never changed doctors once I moved because I was going to her for almost ten years. I called the office all morning because I saw on my gps that I would run into traffic. No answer. Finally I get in touch with the receptionist and I asked what is your late policy or grace period? She stated they did not have one but it is up to the doctor but we encourage… Our patients to still come in anyway. At this time my gps is saying I’ll be there in ten minutes. I explained to the receptionist that I’m ten minutes away and that I’m stuck in traffic due to the weather and rush hour. She said it’s fine come in and I’ll let the ladies know up front. I get there and the doctor tells the receptionist to inform me that I needed to reschedule and that she’s busy and has other patients to see! She didn’t even have the courtesy to come out and talk to me. I explained to the ladies up front that I called ahead and explained that I took off from work and the receptionist on the phone told me to still come in. I’ve been calling all morning to speak to the office manager Melinda who still has not returned my calls. It makes me so mad that Dr Boykin was so INSENSITIVE!!! I’ve never been turned away from a doc appointment because of lateness. Even if I had to wait I would have. Even if I got to my appointment at 730am sharp I wouldn’t been seen right away. I still would have to wait. But it’s ok for them to have patients wait 30 mins close to an hour to see the doctor. There wasn’t anyone else waiting in the receptionist area! But God forbid the doctor has to wait on the patient. I will be going elsewhere where the Doctor isn’t an A Hole and actually cares and not in it just for the money.

Dr. Boykin is amazingly great! Very compassionate and understanding and explains everything needed about the condition or whatever pertaining to your visit. Thank you for all you do for me as my dr. You’re great! Your staff is awesome too, especially Amy. Great job ladies! Theresa Greenhill

Dr Boykin was great

Dr. Boykin always puts her patients first and goes the extra mile when it comes to patient care. Her staff is amazing. Melinda is the office manager and always willing to help or get you an appointment asap. Dr. Boykin's assistant Amy has been there as long as I have been seeing the doctor and I she helps with EVERYTHING. She always returns my call within the same day. I've recommend Dr. Boykin 100% I mean it says a lot when you have the same staff for 10+ years.

When i go to her office i have no issue everyone is nice and friendly , the only issue is they take forever to get back to you if you call. Especially if its an emergency might as well go to the ER

Dr. Boykin is a kind and competent doctor!

I saw Dr. Boykin for 1 or 2 yrs, just annually for my pap. She seemed nice enough. Once I became pregnant, and started seeing her more, I was surprised. Most of the time she was aloof and uncaring. She couldn't answer most basic questions about pregnancy and what to do or not to do. She also was insensitive once I because high risk. She never cared about my condition and kept treating me like a number. What is worse is that they are affiliated with St. Agnes womens center. These people are awful. They treat everyone like they are 3rd rate not english speakers. They make you wait over an hour for each visit and then don't listen or care. When I finally delivered after Dr. Boykin threatened me with a still born at 39 weeks and a truly healthy pregnancy even with high risk, she didn't even come to the hospital or see me during her rounds. Someone else with way more compassion delivered me via CSection after letting me try as long as possible to go naturally. When Dr.… Boykin initially (the day I was being induced) mentioned csection and I cried because I didn't want one and was over whelmed, she told me that I needed help and I would most def. have PPD. I didn't. And now, trying to get my records is $40. Stay far far away.

Dr Boykin was the best doctor when it came to stresses about my first preganancy. She was very comforting and she made my delivery (unexpected c-section) very smooth. Her staff is very polite and professional. I love her so much I still go to her even after the birth of my daughter.

Dr. Boykin made my first pregnancy a much less stressful time than it could have been. I was a high risk pregnancy from the beginning due to fibroids and the care and attention I received allowed me to carry to full term, have a quick and nearly carefree C-section and aftercare. I have recommended several other patients to this office and they have given the same comment.
