Dr. Diane Jean Kraus, MD

I had Cataract Surgery in both eyes. I like both the doctor and the whole staff. They were all professional and they were very courteous. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to get cataract surgery. She is very clear on what the surgery is going to look like and how it will get done. She was very clear on explaining the after surgery care as well as the care before the surgery. She was very nice. In my book she is highly recommended.

What they missed in a NYC hospital, she found on the first visit....five minute laser procedure - totally painless - took care of the "fog" covering one of my eyes...I see again. She's fast, she's thorough, she's patient friendly...

I went back a second time today, Halloween, for pain in my L eye for 5 days. Dr Pappas saw a speck in the eyelid, removed it, but i felt much more pain still. She did not hesitate to being in another set of eyes to look. Dr. Lrais was awesome as well.: professional, thorough and funny. We could actually talk and joke in a hard moment. these are top notch professional women... including Sneezy the Halloween tech.. Top NOTCH help. Love them and will never go anywhere else EVER!!!

Diane Kraus has great bedside/chair side manner. She gives you her full attention and is very knowledgable and experienced plus she's often funny. The staff is fine but the office is not particularly well-run and there are often long waits during appointments. But Dr. Krause is worth the wait and that's why she has a loyal following.

Dr. Kraus seems like a good doctor; however, be prepared to wait while at your appointment (my last appt. was 1 hour and 15 minutes late). The place is always very busy and not as personal as I would have liked. The appointment staff are rather robots and are not very approachable.
