I was referred to Dr Lerner for an ovary my gynecologist wanted removed and ultimately he removed another mass too. Dr Lerner really listened to me and my concerns every time I talked to him. He was accessible and talked to me whenever I had concerns leading up to surgery and after. I was pleased he was so pleasant, calming, knowledgeable and patient and understanding. The one mass must’ve been the culprit of my numb legs as within a couple months my legs were almost like new! I’m glad I was referred to Dr. Lerner. He’s a great surgeon and I’m back out on my board! ??????? ?? In case you read this, Thank YOU Dr. Lerner!

Dr. Lerner is an excellent surgeon. He is very caring and skilled. He takes the time to thoroughly explain the procedure prior to surgery and really helps provide some calm during a very scary time for his patients. As someone who works in the health field, I interact with physicians all the time and he truly is one of the best there is! He is skilled in the latest advances (e.g., Da Vinci robotic surgery) and you will be in good hands with him! I highly recommend Dr. Lerner!

I was diagnosed with Stage IV Primary Peritoneal Carcinoma and was referred to Dr. Lerner. Upon meeting Dr. Lerner I felt comfortable with him and his staff and was confident he was the doctor for me. He was able to remove all the cancer during surgery and after a going through chemo I am in remission.. I feel great now. Dr. Lerner is the best surgeon in the world. Dr. Lerner is extremely bright and also a very caring and sweet doctor. He is on the younger side and will only become better and better at his skill as he ages. I highly recommend him as he is professional, attentive and a pleasure to have at one's side during a challenging time such as gyno oncological surgery. Was diagnosed by biopsy done by my OBGYN with squamous cell carcinoma in situ. Dr. Lerner met with me right away, spent time learning my family and personal health history, discussed all issues. Did a coloposcopy to rule out any other infected sites, had an ultrasound done to check on possible causes for random spotting. Very thorough, spent plenty of time to discuss any and all questions I might have. Personable and makes you feel relaxed and as if you are in good hands. FANTASTIC experience, after a disaster with my OBGYN.
