Dr. Dinesh John Telang, MD

He is incredibly knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to take care of my mom who is 97. He listens to everything she has to say, always. He could not be a nicer doctor or giver better medical care.

I saw Dr.Telang for 7 years. He is confident and knowledgable in his practice. He is thorough and takes the time that most doctors do not bc of their time schedules. He has a great bedside manner that puts you at ease. He's personable and has a good sense of humor. So thankful to have had his care.

Not all women's problems are easy to discuss. As a young mother of five Dr. Telang was very caring and put me at ease. His assurance and professionalism only attested to the referral I was given. As far as wait time in his office, I feel this is the norm with any specialist. The staff was courteous and kind. My surgery was a success and my follow up visit went well. I have no complaints to report and I would refer him to family and friends.

It started with terrible pain in my side. Than I started getting really sick (vomiting, nausea, tired) absolutely terrible. I was diagnosed with large kidney stones . So I was referred to Dr. Telang. I had about 6 office visits and it was a minimum of hour wait. And he has it (yea he orchestrates every move his nurses are terrified of him) set up where your wait is in two phases. One is in the lobby and than they call you to another room where you sit by yourself for I guarantee another half hour. That's where I sat and and could listen to him reem his assistance. What's even more insulting is if you show up late you get scolded by the secratary and still have wait. So Dr. Telang performed a pcnl which in short-you are put to sleep, small incision thru your back, and kidney stone is removed. This has a 95% success rate to remove entire stone And if there are any remains the doctor is suppose to go back in and remove the remaing piece(s) the following day while you still have the opening (Nephrostomy tube). I go to his office with my X-rays he tells me there's "still a piece there I didn't see it, any way it looks like it stuck to your kidney and won't bother you". I'm trusting his opinion and you don't dare question dr. Telang he's not having it.. Well after a second opinion come to find out by having a fragment left there I have 70% chance of reoccurrence on that side . I can't understand why he didn't go back and get that piece. My last visit was 1:30 and I wasn't seen til 4:15 I kid you not. Now my insurance is canceled and I'm stuck.

I have seen Dr. Telang four times at this office. Each time the staff was very nice. Dr. Telang took his time with me and was very helpful answering questions. Because the news I received on my first visit was unexpected, I needed to call Dr. Telang. He called me back and took his time answering new questions that had come up since my diagnosis. My surgery went smoothly. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Telang. My primary care doctor had referred me to him and I couldn't be happier. I even asked several friends who were doctors and an OR nurse about him and they all gave me rave reviews. I am blessed to have him taking care of me and feel confident in his care - now and in the future.

Dr. Telang is Professional and always answers questions that I have. He is dedicated to his field and always puts the patient first. I am very thankful that Dr. Telang was suggested to me.

Always had good luck with Dr.Telang over by the east point area and is tickled to death that he is at the new location in Clinton twp.

Dr. TeLang is one of the most friendliest physicians I have encountered. I had a problem, he diagnosed the problem, and when I ask for a second opinion, he promtly produced a list of physicians.
