Diagnosed with HCC Liver cancer with a Tumor encompasing Half of my Liver 6 x 8 inches, compromising 2 of the 3 main Vessels, I sat with Dr Dmitri who was recommended by a friend of my family "MARIO" and this was a LIFE SAVING move! When Dr Dmitri looked at my MRI scans he quickly said you have ONE OPTION- take this out immediately- I was otherwise recommended by another team of Drs to shrink it first with Radiology because the Tumor was "Too Bigg"- Dr Dmitri said If you wait & the Tumor doesnt shrink- "you could be deemed UNOPERABLE and then its Game OVER!" I Thank GOD I went with Dr Dmitri ALDEN- THE BEST!!!!!! DO NOT HESITATE TO USE THIS MAN AND HIS PRACTICE, HE IS THE VERY BEST!!!!!

My Dad had an emergency procedure done by Dr. Alden. It was very scary but Dr. Alden was amazing!! He took his time. He explained everything. He even made sure we were contacted during the surgery by a nurse giving us an update. It is so hard when a loved needs surgery. To know you are receiving the best care, which we did with Dr. Alden,made all the difference. He is an amazing Doctor. I also would like to add that Taylana, the office manager, was great to work with. She was also so kind and helpful. She made the follow up experience great. Dr alden took care of me from top to bottom as an MEN1 patient. All facets of my syndrome were assessed before he removed my pancreatic cancer. He fought me for to get treatment for my parathyroid and pituitary and overall cared so much for my well being. Being his patient is a gift I am most thankful for this year.

Best surgeon ever! He saved my life!

I had surgery with Dr. Alden two months ago at Lenox Hill Hospital/Northwell Medical Center.Dr. Alden spent considerable time with me on my first visit, reviewing my options and telling me clearly and directly what he thought should be done. Surgery went well and the aftercare was superb.

I found I had a tumor in my abdomin, I saw doctors first in Staten Island, when I told my regular doctor I was set up for surgery, he recommended dr Lazzaro at Lenox Hill. We met with him and he sent me for additional testing unfortunately the tests didn't show what tumor could be attached to. I then met with a whole team of doctors, it was very scary since it was located near all my organs, they might have to take my kidney and if attached to the vena cava vein they would have to put me on heart and lung machine. I met with dr Alden who told me it had to be removed and he would do his best but was worried about pancreas and the vein by it. He was very warm and made you feel all would be okay and not to worry. I put myself in his hands operation could be all day needless to say it was scary! I had the operation, the morning of all the doctors were there and everyone of them made me feel at ease. Operation was only 6 hours he had to repair my pancreas and the vein! He came to my room… always with a smile and a handshake. I highly recommend him to anymore who needs his expertise, he is a kind and caring Doctor. I went home after a week, had staples out and am recuperating at home! My experience could not have been better!

Dr Alden remover Liver tumors and my gallbladder latrosvopically it was a long six hour surgery which I was told by several surgeons from highly recommended institutions that was in able to be done Dr Alden had a plan he looked me in the eye when I asked him if he could "fix me up" and said yes where many other expert surgeons said it couldn't be done Dr Alden made it happen with no excuses I needed to get the tumors out to send for Testing and without that the tumors weren't able to be biopsied This Dr saved my life I am forever grateful if you want the best look no further than Dr Alden In a world of compromise Dr Alden doesn't This Dr is the best period Do not hesitate to put your life in this doctors hands you won't be sorry

I was very lucky Dr Alden was on call when my appendix burst.
