Dr. Donald R Walker, MD

This guy is a BUTCHER! I went to his Fountain Square location about 7 years ago to get a tooth pulled (#31). He actually pulled a second tooth also (#32) without consultation, without warning, and without asking!!! I heard him speaking to another couple in another room before he attended to my tooth (teeth). He was very nice to them, but he was talking about their insurance company alot (important to know). So I wasn't expecting his Rude, Disrespectful, and UNPROFESSIONAL behavior. He was was extremely ROUGH physically and critical of my expressing pain. The first tooth was so loose that I hadn't realized he pulled it, so when he started on the second tooth I didn't think anything of it. It didn't come out easy either. Once he got it out he says "there goes the wisdom" and I immediately started complaining. He claimed the tooth was bad so it needed to come out (that was total Bull!!!) I stated it's my choice as to when I get my teeth pulled. I then told him that I only brought enough… money for ONE tooth and he IMMEDIATELY said "I thought you had Medicaid" (important to know). I said "no I called ahead for the cost of an extraction and I brung cash". He then started Rushing me out of his office. I asked the receptionist for a copy of my x-rays but she claimed they couldn't give me a copy. They gave me a script for pain meds, a bunch of gauze, and rushed me out still bleeding profusely. When I think of what I experienced at this appointment, a few questions keep popping up as to why he treated me that way: (1) was it because I didn't have "regular" insurance?, (2) was it an attempt at "Medicaid Fraud"?, (3) was it because I'm Black? (because he was extremely pleasant with the other folks who had "regular" insurance and who were also White - yes I saw them), or (4) was it all of the above?. Obviously I would give him Negative stars if I could, but I just want to warn anyone who's thinking of using his services to DON'T DO IT!!! I should have done it sooner, sorry. I'm actually shocked he still has his license.

DR. WALKER HIRED AN ATTORNEY TO SUE FOR PULLING TWO TEETH. I ARGUED HE ONLY PULLED ONE AND BILLED MY INSURANCE FOR TWO!!! SO I DIDN"T PAY HIM. IN COURT HERE WE ARE AND I HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER DENITST TO GET A LETTER TO SHOW THE JUDGE I STILL HAD THAT TOOTH THAT DR. WALKER SUPPOSEDLY PULLED OUT!~ I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET AN APOLOGY LETTER FROM DR> WALKER BUT DIDN"T >>>

Very awful experience, went to get 1 tooth pulled & he pulled 4 then said well that one has a cavity too so let's go ahead& get that out of the way. Omg like are you trying to get rid of all my teeth. As he pulled my teeth he yanked so hard splitting my lip. Then says here's a Kleenex your lips are dry & cracked. Really it was very awful experience

Dr. Walker was very, very rude to me and very condescending. He has zero bedside manner or professionalism. Guy was a total jerk, making inappropriate comments about my weight. I would not take my dog to him.
