Dr. Donald Joseph Tamulonis JR., MD

Dr Tamulonis is very rude, he doesn’t listen at all. He talks at you and is condescending. He reinforces why ppl avoid seeking medical attention. I’m disheartened that I waited several months to see him only to be extremely disappointed and insulted.

Avoid at all cost.

Was referred to Dr. Tamulonis by my primary care physician. I did not see the doctor. Instead I saw a CNS (Certified Nurse Specialist). I was told that I HAD to have any scans done at the Belmont Ave. Mercy Health. I asked at what point would I see the doctor and was told that I would not see the doctor. . . I was a patient of the CNS and would be treated by the CNS. Cancelled my next appointment and never went back. I'm a registered nurse and found this treatment highly irregular.

I received a phone call while I was in route to my appointment, 15 minutes before the appointment, to notify me that my appointment have been cancelled. Then they attempted to schedule me for another appointment over a month away, after I'd already waited months for this appointment. All this to see a physician's assistant, because they refuse to schedule me with an actual doctor. No thank you.

This dr has no clue on how to treat Parkinsons patients.

I've seen Dr. Tamulonis for 10 yrs. thru the Muscular Dystrophy Clinic. I have this incredible nerve pain from Spinal Muscular Atrophy I begged this guy for 10 years for something for the pain and he never once helped me Told me the type I have isn't painful. Like he knows how I feel. Once had a nerve test done and asked what the results were and he said he saw the nerve damage from the diabetes.. huh? You sure you read the right chart? Didn't even know my name so I knew he was reading the wrong results. I now see a better neurologist

very rude. i waited to be didcharged until i had a cobsult from him and he couldnt even be bothered to do the consult. he was mouthy about it. sad thing was i left worse then when i arrived. i left there and headed to Cleveland clinic where i got care.

Good Dr. first, then bedside manner. Dr. is excellent: thorough, pleasant and caring. Will adhere to his advice for my overall health. TY

The first three categories for the review really don't apply since my experience with him was in the hospital. He was condescending, rude, smug and determined not to let the family tell him anything that might interfere with his pre-determined (and inaccurate, as it turns out) diagnosis.

My husband has been diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease by three neurologists out of the Cleveland Clinic/Wade Park VA. During 2 unfortunate incidents that required hospitalization at a local hospital over the past year, I've witnessed this doctor mock my husband's condition in front of 2 residents when he was "explaining" what he believed Parkinsons is/isnt, would not answer our questions when conflicting information was given to us, will walk out on you mid-conversation if you do challenge him, speaks very curtly and disrespectful to the patient and family. We've now specifically informed the hospital that we must use locally for emergencies that this doctor is NOT to treat my husband. It is a terrible thing to hear other patients and doctors say the same thing.
