Doug Atlas is a true gem. A doctor who sincerely wants to help. It seems like we are running out of these people. He's a life saver. He's been a steady presence in my life for many years.

He spends about 10 seconds with each person and is too worried about time than his patients. Nurses there get rushed too!

I have seen many doctors over the years and Dr. Atlas hands down is one of the best. He takes time to know his patients, answers all questions and seems to love his job. I value his advice and diagnoses

Dr. Atlas takes the time to get to know you and is very thorough in his examinations. He takes the time to explain treatment alternatives and discuss the pros and cons of each.

I love Dr. Atlas, too - just as long as he keeps my prescription for "Vikes" current. Also, he is punctuality personified - I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Does anybody know - do doctors in general receive incentives from HMOs to NOT order too many tests? I think we all need to know this.
