Dr. Douglas Dee Callahan, DO

Dr. Doug Callahan is a great family doctor who takes his time to listen & thoroughly explain. The wait is a bit long compared to other places I have been, but here, you get good old fashioned down-to-earth real treatment. You are not rushed when speaking with him. You are not treated like a burden or just a paycheck, you are treated like a real person that matters. My family have all been going to him for many years & he has always cared about them & their friends. He values long relationships with clients. Staff is bubbly & friendly. So worth the slightly longer wait for a doctor who genuinely cares & knows very well what he is talking about. I was very impressed with his memory & his technical breakdown explanation of things in my health tests. He is very knowledgeable. Loved getting a nice break down of my bloodwork on paper, clearly explained to me and how he repeatedly expressed how my concerns are also his concerns, and that we would figure out the cause as well as improvement… needed. He is a doctor who does not send you away feeling unheard. He is reassuring for positive outcome & telling truthful input. He looks at the body as a "whole" not like your regular MD doc's who look at individual problems separately & you can feel just like a number. He looks at your genetics, family history, how things in your body or health history could possibly connect or make sense of other things. This has been very helpful to me and my family who all see him. If you like being treated like a real person who matters, I reccommend Dr. Callahan.
