My neurologist sent a referral to his office and they sat on it! I called his office and they told me they only handle referrals on fridays! Friday came and went and guess what they are closed Fridays! Called them today and had to leave a voicemail, over an hour later nothing! Sent them an email nothing! Called back to referring doctor again and they are completely disgusted at their lack of communication even with them! Going to another endocrinologist appt now! This office doesn’t even care enough to contact you

Dr. Wood's office is by FAR the most helpful/life changing doctor's office I've been to. Not only is Dr. Wood very professional with a great bedside manner; he and his staff always go out of their way to make sure the patient gets top-notch care. They also do lab work in office so no hassle at lab-corp anymore!! Thank you Dr. Wood's and staff. William Potter

On my first visit to see Dr. Woode, I was totally impressed with my experience. He gave me much needed information about managing my diabetes and lowering my A1C, so I may have shoulder surgery. His staff is excellent as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Woode.

Dr. Woode is an amazing Endocrinologist. He actually takes the time to engage in caring for his patients and gives you the respect and time to give your opinions on YOUR own care. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor.

Dr woode is great, but good luck getting someone to answer a phone. office staff is horrible.

My doctor sent a referral for me to see Dr. Woode for ongoing thyroid disease that she felt needed a specialist. I waited almost 2 months for an appointment with him. When I went to my appointment the office staff were exceptionally nice people, very clean waiting area and waiting rooms. I was anxious to meet the doctor and when I finally met him he asked me what kind of thyroid medication do I take. I told him naturethroid by Western Laboratories which is a prescription. I have food and gluten allergies and this is one of the very few rx that have worked for me. The doctor said he would not take me as a patient because of the rx I am on and that he only gives synthroid or levoxyl. I was so desperate I told him I would be willing to try whatever he thinks I should and he just told me again he wouldn't take me as a patient. I was upset naturally after all the waiting to see him. Don't understand what happened or why. So my review is null with him. That's all I have to say.

I had to check in on a "new" do-it-yourself computer system. I noticed it was skipping pages of questions. When I told the receptionist, she said she didn't know anything about it and not to worry about it. I had been taken off Metformin and Victoza due to increase in my creatinine. When I went to the drug store, Dr. Woode or his staff had prescribed Metformin and Victoza , testing strips and needles. He never asked if I needed any strips or needles (which I didn't). His explanation of how to take my insulin was nothing like anything I have read or learn from the Diabetic Class or my GP. My blood sugar was very high but he didn't give me any insulin at that time. Also, after I reminded him that I was no longer on Metformin and Victoza he didn't offer trying any other drug(s) to help lower my blood sugar count.

This guy cares more about his schedule than his patients. When an appointment is made, it's at least a 4 month wait. I travel and the last two times I was scheduled I was 1000 miles away, so I called in and canceled only to be rescheduled 5 months down the road. If he is that booked, then he is overbooked because there is no way he can handle that much. Also, I was diagnosed with Type I by a doctor who run the tests on me while in the hospital, Dr. Woode told me, well we're going to catagorize you as Type II; this man didn't even run the tests to make that call. Don't go to him, he's more concerned with his schedule than he is with your's and he makes unfounded diagnosis on the cuff.
