Dr. Dwight Lamar Fitch, MD

I just finished my month of radiation treatments at Advocate Radiation Oncology. This place is a first rate medical provider. I have been to a number of various providers, and I do not think I have been to one better. One area I typically see as being an issue is communication. Dr Fitch and team couldn’t be better. I know I will miss a few, but I do want to give shout outs to the two doctors I saw - Dr Fitch and Dr Truong. They both take their time with you, show compassion and are just plain nice! Now for those day-to-day professionals that really have made things easy. Ryan, Rosalyn, Jess, Matt, Lance and all the others I missed - thank you! You have become family in a very short time, and I truly grateful for what you all do. You are the best.

On my initial visit with Dr. Fitch who was recommended by my surgeon I found him to be very warm and caring. During my conversation with him, in which he explained my Diagnosis he was very competent and compassionate as he informed me what action he would take in preparing a plan for my Radiation Treatment. During my treatment he checked in on a regular basis to ensure that everything was moving along according to his plan. His Amazing Staff was very caring and very helpful in everyway. They put me at ease before and after each treatment. I felt very blessed to have such a great team taking care of me.

Dr fitch is one of the most wonderful doctors you could ever find he saved my life in October of 2019 I had neck cancer and and had to have radiation on the area where tumor was removed the compassion and medical treatment he gave me I knew I was in the best hands I have done follow ups every year now its 2023 and I am now doing great cancer free I was blessed to have such a great team on my side dr fitch is simply the best he is like family and I will always be thankful I found this talented angel to give me another year of life Tammy Ochs

Dr Fitch first took care of me in 2009 when I had colon cancer. Now I have a different cancer diagnosis and I made sure to go to Dr Fitch again. He takes great care to explain everything, patiently answers any questions, always checks in with me each week. He is very professional and his staff are exceptional too. Having Dr Fitch so attentive every step of the way made this process a lot less scary.

In the midst of a life changing situation of dealing with breast cancer, and after a few consults with other radiologists; my decision to go with Dr. Fitch was a truly great choice. From the moment I met him, I knew I was in great hands with my choice. Dr. Fitch took the time to explain everything that I didn't understand, and put me at ease that I wasn't going to be alone in my treatment, he was with me ever step of my journey to recovery. I was very blessed to have him on my team. A man with compassion, integrity and a true humanitarian. Even with his large case load of patients, he finds time to volunteer in various organizations!! Thank you Dr. Fitch for seeing me through one of the most difficult times of my life, from the bottom of my heart.
