Dr. Earl Washburn has the following 1 specialty
A pediatrician is a doctor who specializes in the regular care of children, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of illness in children. Young patients are often more complicated to treat because they are still growing and developing.
While pediatricians may sub-specialize in specific therapy areas like oncology, surgery, ophthalmology, and anesthesiology, in general, pediatricians provide services like vaccinations, health exams, and treatment of common ailments and injuries. In addition, pediatricians are trained to handle the complex emotional and behavioral issues faced by children, especially during puberty.
Pediatricians normally see their patients from birth until the age of 18, although some may agree to treat patients into their early 20s, if requested.

Dr Washburn is a great doctor hes very nice said that i was a great guy treated me like a person he cared about not a number like some doctors do. i had him for many years after my 1st doctor got transferred i was sad about that. After that Washburn and me got to know each other and we grew a bond and he always found away to get me well. in 2011 i had a lot of stress and got really sick with pneumonia and at 1st his staff said they couldnt see me because i turned 19 and graduated from High School but i got a hold of him directly and he continued to see me. even know he said i would at some point have to transfer to an adult doctor but made me feel like he was my friend and continued to see me lintel i found a doctor it took a long time but he stuck with me till the end and all i can say is thank you Dr Washburn Im been honored to call u my doctor and I will miss him and when i have kids i want them to see him and alsothe office staff was friendly and fun too
It's a shame Dr. Washburn specializes in treating children. He was extremely patronizing to me in front of my son during what was our first (and last) visit to the only pediatric group in town. He is extremely disrespectful of patients & seems to have a real anger problem. When he retires, maybe we'll think about revisiting this local pediatric group.
Dr. Washburn is funny, caring, and realistic. He has a wealth of experience, and he also keeps up on the latest studies. He will not diagnose a problem or offer prescriptions unless there is factual evidence to support his opinion. He has a reassuring manner with children and parents. I couldn't be happier with my experiences at Dr. Washburn's practice.
I have been very disappointed with my overall experience with Marshall pediatrics. Dr. Washburn is very patronizing and is overdue to retire. At a visit with my son I requested a referral for an orthopedic problem my son was having. He made me feel like I was being rediculous and never followed through with my request. I have the right to have a second opinion. He is not an orthopedic specialist but he sure seems to feel that he is. Dr Christiansen is very unprofessional and rude. I do not expect my childrens pediatrician to come into the exam room chewing gum and acting like he is the second coming. He is not compassionate with the children or appears to care. Why did he become a pediatrician????The reception staff is horrible. One receptionist dresses like she is ready to go to a tachy nightclub. Applying sparkles to your cleavage is not apppropiate in a pediatricians office. Another receptionist acts like she hates the world. I feel sorry for her because she seems so miserable. Dr. Hacker is the only one that is wonderful in that whole practice. He is kind, caring and very gentle. Unfortunately he can't make up for the severe deficits of the rest of the practice.
