I was a patient of Dr Irions in 2012 when residing in Charleston, SC. I was having IBS issues and knew I would be relocating soon. He promptly got me scheduled for a colonoscopy. The procedure went smoothly and he was able to offer a plan that helped get me back on track!

I was so fearful to ever consider a colonoscopy, but met Dr. Irions and his wonderful staff, when my husband had his care. I was so impressed with them, Dr. Irions was so warm and welcoming, I was able to break through my crazy fears and be safe now myself. Thank you all , I need to be seeing you very soon ,but have no fears this time to call and follow through.

Dr. Irions greeted me with a smile, had an excellent bedside manner, was friendly and asked if I had any questions before my procedure. The procedure went well. All the staff was excellent, and they followed up the next day to make sure I was doing well.

Misdiagnosis almost caused me be on a colostomy bag

Would not take the time to even listen to my symptoms. Was very rude and impatient. Never going there again!!!!! The nurses are nice, but the doctor was terrible! Definately getting a second opinion!!!

The most egotistical Doctor I have ever encountered! No bed side manner. He would not let you explain and he was right. He was the on call doctor for Charleston GI and I will never let the man come near me again. He obviously has done a great job of hiding his character flaws from the rest of the Charleston GI staff. A fake if I have ever seen one! He doesn't even deserve one star.

So refreshing to have a straightforward doctor who wants to help versus put you through a million unece$$ary tests and procedures! Highly recommend the whole practice!

Dr. Irions was so polite, treated me with respect, and answered all of my questions. He was so friendly and really cared! The front office staff was so helpful and I was seen within a day. Dr. Irions nurse was just as friendly and I felt comfortable the entire time. She put my mind at ease about a procedure. The scheduler was fast and knowledgeable. Short wait time too! Really enjoyed my experience
