Dr. Edward Sewell Holt, MD

I CALLED THE DR. EDWARD HOLTS OFFICE NUMBER TODAY AFTER 11:30AM (6/26/2025) AND THE LADY THAT ANSWERED TRYING TO SAY THERE IS NO DR.EDWARD HOLT THERE IN THAT OFFICE IM LIKE YES HE IS HE OPERATED ON MY ANKLES IN 2010/2011 AND ONLINE WHEN I LOOKED HIM UP IT GAVE ME THE OFFICE NUMBER IN ANNAPOLIS MD..

I met with doctor Holt twice. Both times he appeared pleasant. The first visit, an X-ray was done and uploaded to his computer. He reviewed the result on screen to himself, but did not explain anything about the X-ray to me. I didn't get a good feeling about him until the second visit. It wasn't until the second visit that he explained the results of the X-rays and his diagnosis. Dr. Holt's "direct" staff is very pleasant. Specifically, Rebecca, is a huge asset to Dr. Holts office. She went out of her way on several occasions to resolve seemingly complicated issues. Dr. Holt plans to do surgery on me soon. I do not like the thought of people cutting into me, but my pain is getting to be unbearable and I'm praying his expertise is right for my type of condition.

I went to see Dr Holt for foot pain he had no interest in finding a solution. Went off task, was rude and of no help at all.

Absolutely THE best Orthopedic foot surgeon in the area. Kind, professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Excellent surgical facility and awesome staff. I highly recommended Dr, Holt!

I love the staff at the Annapolis office, they were caring and helpful during the process. However I did not like Dr. Holt. His bedside manner is terrible. I was trying to ask questions of him at the hospital right before the surgery was to take place. I wanted to know how many screws or plates he was putting in which he said he wouldn't know until he went in. I can understand that. However he couldn't tell me how big the incision is or even where the incision would be made or if it would need one in front of ankle and back of ankle. He then walked away and I had a couple more questions I wanted to ask. Also the initial consultation when I went to his office to have my leg confirmed if it was broken or not, he wasn't very forthcoming on answers to my concerns about alternatives to surgery. I should have gone to another doctor.
