Dr. Edward Patrick Stack, MD

My experience was well south of satisfactory. Since i needed my cataracts done i listened to the schmeil about the great benefit of that super duper pan optix lens. Make a real long story short, my eyes are worse now than before. I went back for 4 months and none of the Dr's could help. Cost me a copay every time. Now 10 grand later I'm 20 40, and 20 50. He said the good news was that i could still pass the S. O. S exam. If I could do it again, I would not. I would use dr Ryan. I'm hoping that piece of crap super lens gets recalled!

I don’t recommend Dr Stack for any type of eye surgery. He performed cataract surgery on my father years ago and left my father blind in the operating room. My father will never be able to see again. I will never forget the trust we placed on the hands of Dr Stack and the devastating outcome of the surgery.

Keeps to appointment times. Well trained staff. Answers questions and offers solid advice

I was very impressed with the expertise of this doctor and staff. A very pleasant experience.

Dr. Stack clearly intends to spend very limited time with each patient. There is no consideration for questions or concerns. He seemed totally disinterested in me as a person and what my visual needs and expectations were. He was obviously not listening when I talked. The least he could do was pretend to care. At the end of the brief appointment, I asked a question about the surgery choices to clarify, he turned to his medical assistant and said the name of the surgical scheduler (meaning he wanted me to talk to her) AND WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM WITHOUT LOOKING AT ME OR ACKNOWLEDGING THAT I HAD ASKED A QUESTION. I don't think I have ever been treated that way by a physician. It was humiliating. He made me feel worthless. The visit was so disappointing.

Excellent physician/surgeon. Staff makes you wait for doctor while he sees yesterday's cataract surgery patients, despite having an appointment for six months ahead and being a patient for years and years. My last wait was three hours and I had to leave for work without seeing him.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Stack for several years. You will not find a more thorough doctor. He always takes time to answer questions in a friendly caring manner.
