Former Presidential physician, that'll be good enough for me.

Dr Yob performed the Mohs procedure on my right cheek. He removed tissue until he had clear margins. This made a substantial hole in my cheek. He closed the hole with approximately 20 small stitches. I was apprehensive about having a scar that would look as if I had been in a knife fight. I followed directions on care of wound. Once stitches were removed I continued to keep sunscreen on my face. The scar is minimal after 3 months. So pleased with the results and glad malignant cells removed. Dr Yob and his staff did excellent work.

Wonderful staff and awesome doctor. Took lots of time with me. Answered all my questions and actually looked me in the eye. Put me at ease during a very scary process. I can't say enough about how great everyone was.

The whole staff are wonderful people. Professional AND friendly. I have made them my "go to" folks when I need skin treatment.

Very personable and down to earth! Made me feel like I was his only patient!

I was referred to Dr. Yob by another dermatologist, because a biopsy she performed on a small bump on my nose showed that it was a basal cell carcinoma. She referred me to Dr. Yob because he is excellent in treating these cancers with the Mohs Technique. Dr. Yob and his staff have a very reassuring manner at a time when I needed that manner, since I was a bit concerned with the diagnosis. The wound was then sent to the lab, and within 45 minutes, I was told by Dr. Yob that the lab tested the specimen and that he was able to remove every bit of the cancer - what great new this was. When I returned to his office two days later, he told me that everything was looking great and that I will return in twelve days to remove stitches. To say that I was impressed with the doctor and every member of his staff, is putting it mildly!

These people only care about getting paid. The welfare of their patients is not a priority. When you go to a doctor, you assume that they are there to actually take concern for your health. This is not the case. Terrible experience. When you are paying hard earned money along with insurance, you would expect some professional caring help, especially where you might be somewhat concerned and a little afraid for your health. These people have no heart.

Was referred for a small tumor removal from side of my face. Had to wait over a month to be seen. Staff is indifferent and unfriendly. Had to wait almost one hour to be seen on day of appointment. Then had to wait over a month for surgery. Nurse goes over all these requirements for day of surgery---loose clothing, nothing to eat or drink, MUST have a driver, payment, etc. Day of surgery I was asked to pay BEFORE the procedure and paid cash(almost $1,000.00) with the understanding that if more than one staging was needed it would be approximately $400.00 more and we would be billed. So proceed with surgery, NOTHING but local anesthetic, had to do two stagings, about thirty stitches, was put in a huge head wrap, and told I wouldn't need anything for pain. Well, once the local anesthetic wore off my head was THROBBING with pain---every time my heart beat. Called and was told to try Ibuprofen, cold compresses, and reclining. Next morning I have a black eye, terribly swollen and red surgery… site when wrap was removed, and was in severe pain. My head and side of face surgery was done on hurt severely for about three days. Dr. Yob was totally indifferent and insensitive about patient comfort and post-op care. Then to top all of this off I get a bill in the mail for almost $1,500.00 for the second staging. When I inquired about the bill I was told that my wife and I were mistaken that what we paid before the surgery ''was just an estimate''. I would definitely never recommend Dr. Yob UNLESS you enjoy being carved on, then told to take Advil and use cold compresses, and paying over TWICE what you told it would cost!!!

This was my first time to see Dr. Yob for a mole that was skin cancer. He spent time with me answering any questions. During the procedure he was making sure that I didn't feel anything and once on stitching me up, I feel a sting and he numbed me up again without question. Very nice bedside manner. His staff was super nice and caring as well.
