Switched to her because my last Dr wouldn't listen so far she has been great

While I don't have complaints about Dr. Peplow, I could write a book about how awful the nurses are. I was dumbfounded by the cold and unfriendly demeanor. If you need to get a question answered, good luck. You will be sent to Barbara's voicemail and will NEVER get a call back.

Going to this Doctor for over 2 years. First off it's like pulling teeth to get the nurse to call you back. Been to the Emergency room several time in 1 year and NEVER get a follow up call. In her mind she already had me diagnosed yrs ago that I was depressed that was all that was wrong with me. Even after I told her I was losing my memory and my hair and my body was aging at a very fast rate. She was very quick to respond that it was depression. My family came with me and asked for a Cortisol blood test to be done and Finally agreed. My cortisol levels are very low and I DO have a chemical imbalance. Thank God for my family insisting on these blood tests. I have lost two years of the quality of my life because of her pre-diagnosis of depression.

She is always amazing. She listened to me like I was worth something. She is kind and genuinely sincere. I could not ask for more out if a Dr.

This is not a negative review of the doctor's care or ability. I felt it necessary to comment about the cold, matter-of-fact treatment from the support staff in the office. There was not even a hint of a smile from the front office staff, phlebotomist or nurse. They spoke to me as if from a script they memorized and repeated a hundred times/day. I would not say they were rude but they were unfriendly and seemed like robots, just doing their job. I don't think this is what a medical office wants to convey to their patients. The staff needs to be a bit more friendly, greeting you with a bit of a smile when you walk in. Being empathic is an important quality in a medical office. Asking a question should not be answered in a manner in which one seems to be disrupting the order of the universe. I have only dealt with the phlebotomist a few times, but I have only seen a scowl on her face. She might be good at the mechanics of her job, but a little personality wouldn't hurt and it… might make the patient feel more comfortable. Especially, an elderly person who is alone and possibly uneasy about their appointment. These are a few thoughts that might be worth following up by the office manager.

I normally don't like going to the doctor but Dr. Peplow always puts me at ease and is very easy to talk to about my issues. I never feel rushed through a visit and get all my questions answered. When I have to call her, she always calls back on time! I never had this with my previous doctors. I already recommended her to all my family!!

She is so patience, kind and really listens to you when you talk. She is the best Dr. I have ever see. Best recommendation ever given.

Elaine is a wonder physician and I trust her completely.

I love Dr. Peplow. She's always thorough, and always willing to address my concerns. She's also respectful, honest, and smart.

Impossible to get a callback or have a conversation with this doctor, very rude staff. Go elsewhere if you want an actual relationship. I say this on the basis of over a year now of bad experiences.
