I’ve been a patient since I moved to FL. Everyone at this facility is professional, kind, compassionate and informed re: the latest procedures. I could not be more satisfied.

Dr Callahan is very knowledgeable and experienced. Her practice is extremely busy, yet they are punctual about taking patients at the appointed time. Medical appointments need to be booked way in advance, but they maintain a wait list if you need to be seen sooner. I was thrilled that the office called me several times to get me in sooner than my booked appointment when they had a cancellation. You may, optionally, see one of the doctor's assistants if you are anxious to get in sooner. I have also seen Dr Callahan for some non-insurance-covered cosmetic treatments. These are done with care and attention, but can be costly. This is a well-run, very fine practice located in cheerful, attractive surroundings. Highly recommended.

I am an RN, Masters prepared, from Chicago, who is familiar with the cosmetic enhancements that are offered all over the U.S. Nurses are the best resource in knowing which physicians are great and those that are not. I am not employed or paid by Dr. Callahan, but I will tell you, beware of unsupervised Spas, groupons etc. Nurses are very selective because we see it all. I want the best and expect realistic results. Not unrealistic results. I am 65, not 20, and do not expect to look like I am 20. After my C02 laser, I am already thrilled. Plain Tylenol, Aquaphor, I feel I made the right choice.

Had restalyne silk injections in my lip, have been left with dimpling and puckering in top lip.

I don't understand the other reviewers. This is a large practice. Sometimes I see Dr. Callahan and sometimes a well-qualified PA or MA. I went to another well-know dermatologist in Sarasota for 5 years and never once was I treated by him. They are a busy practice - that usually means they are good at what they do. Anyway, it's a beautiful place to go, with very kind and considerate staff. Dr. Callahan is professional and highly qualified. The medical staffers I have seen seem very genuine.

The medical staff did nothing I requested - referred me to cosmetic side of practice.

How can I review the doctor if only her non-doctor employees "treat" me? Highly commercial office, with a heavy "sell" atmosphere. Somehow my actual health seems to feel somewhat secondary to all the products, optional procedures, spa-like services...where's the doctor, again??
