Dr. Elizabeth Damstetter, MD, FAAD, MD

Have been seeing Dr. D for several years in a few offices. She is always on point with getting to the problem, efficient at handling multiple requests, and very outcome-focused. Her new private office in Glenview is especially accommodating, whereas the Rush location would have made me wait 3 months to see her.

Lacks empathy and compassionate. Does not actively listen. Rude. Rushed visit. Unresolved.

Received multiple Botox and filler treatments from Dr. Damstetter she is incredibly skilled and gave me great results. I don’t let anyone else touch my face!

She is rude and unprofessional. She does not have the attitude to deal with patients. You'd be better served somewhere else.

Extremely disappointed with my experience with Elizabeth Damstetter. My appointment felt rushed & did not feel like my concerns about my skin were fully heard. I was recommended to undergo a microneedling procedure, which ended up being painful, costly, and completely ineffective (even damaging) for my skin. On top of that, she charged me a second bill separate from the procedure. When I called, she said that the bill was a mistake and that I did not have to pay it. Yet, I kept receiving statements and was forced to pay in the end. I called her office multiple times, left multiple messages, and did not receive any direct replies. Extremely unprofessional and would not recommend this sham doctor to anyone.

Saw Dr. Damstetter for the first time the other day. Very impressed with online reviews and even more impressed with her in person as a doctor. Very knowledgeable, thorough, not rushed and backed by an excellent support staff. Waiting time is minimal. She quickly knew exactly what was going on and explained it. And gave me valuable suggestions for other types of care to consider, not related to dermatology, but just because of my medical history. She is awesome and that's not an understatement.

Dr. Damstetter is amazing. I have seen her for both medical and aesthetic concerns. For starters, with the medical issue -- it was easy to get an appointment. My former practice can't get you in until a week from never, unless you want Botox, in which case they have six appointments today. Dr. Damstetter saw me right away and addressed me with respect, and addressed my concern with care. She even followed up to make sure everything had resolved, which it did! For aesthetic concerns, she was wonderful as well. Once I mentioned my concern, she addressed it without making me feel self-conscious or awkward -- nor did she suggest a ton of expensive procedures. She was realistic and practical with me, and made sure I was able to achieve the result I was going for -- and ONLY the result I was going for. She has an amazing bedside manner -- made me feel like we were old friends. I felt comfortable and welcome in her office. Her front desk staff is great, too -- very efficient -- and… parking was a breeze, too. Two thumbs up from this rash-free girl who looks more youthful and "refreshed" but can still lift her eyebrows ;) Thank you!
