Dr. Elizabeth Jay Renaud, MD

Dr. Renaud is an angel on Earth and my husband and I could not be more grateful for her expertise and caring nature when it came to our newborn’s surgery and recovery. She explained our daughter’s condition thoroughly and clearly so that we could absorb and fully understand everything that was going on from the start. She always gave us every opportunity to ask questions, request further explanations and she always approached conversations honestly and openly, but also delicately. During our daughter’s 3 week NICU stay after her surgery at 5 days old, she was there every day checking on her, even on her days off. You could just see (and feel!) how much pride she takes in her work and we will forever be thankful for her. She saved our daughter’s life and she certainly raises the bar when it comes to pediatric surgery and the personal connection that she makes with families is second to none. Thank you will never be enough, Dr. Renaud.

Dr. Renaud is a one of a kind physician with impeccable surgical skills and amazing bedside manners. We were recommended to Dr. Renaud and from the moment she walked into her office, we were extremely pleased. She is extremely warm and soft spoken, which is exactly what my 10 year old daughter needed. We had found out that my daughter had 11 benign tumors on her ovaries. Scared and devastated is not even the words to describe how my family felt. She broke the news that she needed to operate and it was very difficult for my child to hear. She than made time to personally calm my child down and make her feel safe and that she was in great hands. She has superior skills in working with children. She treated my 10 year old daughter with respect and spoke directly to her and us with such care and compassion. I have never met such a group of professional, competent, and caring nurses and staff. At our last post-op appointment, my daughter said to me, "mom, I love Dr. Renaud and it makes me… sad that we won't see her again." That was her first response before jumping for joy that she had no more benign tumors and that her ovaries were healthy. I highly recommend Dr Elizabeth Renaud!

Dr. Renaud is a very friendly, caring doctor. I drove all the way from Albany to be under her care in Providence for my surgery. Absolutely phenomenal doctor, if given the chance to be under her care I would highly recommend it.
