Dr. Elizaveta V Tikhonova, MD

The doctor was impersonal and the appointment was rushed. She showed no interest in how I was feeling; she was in a hurry; please believe all the reviews. They are exactly what I thought.

I went for a yearly physical exam. She literally looked at me, asked if I felt ok, took my blood pressure and told me to have a nice day. My height and weight were taken in the hallway. She seemed like nice enough person, but that was the end of it. Even after I told her I previously had Grave's disease. I asked what about blood work panel? She said she doesn't take blood because most people don't like it. Really? So how is this a real exam? Of course I don't like it either, but how else to know about your cholesterol, potential issues, etc.? She seemed to afraid of the insurance company to know what should be considered a physical exam. I had to go to an independent lab to get basic blood panel done, as they only used one lab which was not on my insurance plan. She was on my plan which is why I went to her. Weight and blood pressure. That's it. Ridiculous, pathetic excuse for a physical. I can't imagine if I had anything really wrong. I would not trust her. Sorry. So disappointing.… If you want a real doctor, you are better off picking anyone blindly on a database.

Terrible doctor. Her English is so bad I have had to repeat what I was saying or asking several times over. Instead of listening to you she just taps away at her keyboard, entering notes from her last patient. She should NOT be allowed to practice medicine here in Canada.

Dr. Tikhonova is one of the best doctors at Penn. I cant express my gratitude enough she saved my life . She is not an alarmist, but tells it the way it is without causing a patient more anguish then necessary. Dr. Tikhonova told me what was wrong, what she intended to do about it and then told me the possible outcome. She then looked at me square in the eyes and said Do you have any questions? Dr. Tikhonova YOU ROCK!Great bed side manners as well. I will never forget your dedication and kindness during a difficult time in my life. .

great office. very friendly, convenient, and efficient. Only complaint is that she tends to refer to specialists too often.

I really like Dr.T. She is very knowlegeable, patient. She never makes you feel like you are asking too many questions or they are "stupid".

I really did not enjoy being seen by Dr. Tikhonova. She was very rude, dismissive, and continued to speak over me even when i tried explaining a medical issue i was having. My physical lasted less than 10 minutes and when i tried to explain a problem i was having she told me that i was wasting her time. When i finally got the x-rays i needed, i never recieved a phone call or letter with the results. I had to call and ask. I would not recommend this doctor.

She obviously does not care about her patients at all. She asked all the questions but did not listen and was short.

If you need a doctor to just prescribe you medication and then send you to a specialist go here. You might be better off webmd.com your diagnosis. I ...

I visited with Dr. T. and I can highly recommend her. She is quick, thorough, precise, spending attention to each detail and coming up with the correct diagnosis, plan, suggestion for future follow up. She has excellent bedside manners, is polite and knowledgable.
