He is special - So knowledgeable and always up on the newest research. I trusted him completely With my thyroid cancer. If you have to travel, it is worth it to see him. His staff is great

I was extremely satisfied with this procedure. Everything was explained to me in detail before deciding on whether to take this action. The process was very fast and virtually pain free. A small bit of discomfort immediately following the procedure, but no side effects afterward. So far my results are very promising.

The treatment received yielded great results with 96% reduction of the affected area tissue and best of all the lab results were that all tissues were benign. I am greatfull to Dr Kandil and his staff for services provided

When I discovered that I had thyroid nodules suspected to be cancer, Dr. Kandil provided greater options than the other surgeons I had been referred to. Dr. Kandil performed a Radio Frequency Ablation to treat these nodules without performing surgery. When it became apparent that surgery was required, Dr. Kandil was able to perform a lobectomy, preserving half of my thyroid. As of this writing, I currently do not require medication. Dr. Kandil is a very concerned with the welfare of his patients, and will ensure that they are aware of the risks involved in whichever treatment they pursue.

Dr. Kandil is not only an outstanding surgeon but an incredible endocrine clinician as well. Am an RN. Dr. K did a partial thyroidectomy 3 years ago using a transaxillary approach. Superb outcome. Just did an RFA (radiofrequency ablation) of a nodule and, again, perfect outcome. He is kind, understanding, explains everything completely & is highly respectful of all his staff. He also sees patients at their scheduled appointment time. Tulane has several world-renown physicians and Dr. Kandil is one of the best!
