Dr. Emilie Katherine Stickley, MD

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Stickley. She is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She's is very efficient, which I appreciate. I waited less than 15 minutes for my appointment, and she addressed my concerns quickly and smoothly. Her staff is very helpful. I'm so glad I found her office.

When I first went to my gynecologist appointment with Dr.Stickley her staff was very helpful and friendly. Dr.Stickley made me feel comfortable and she very good in explaining and making sure I understand. She the best gynecologist doctor ever . Not once she made feel uncomfortable and she gave me really good advice as well. Very professional.

Dr. Stickley is probably overbooked because she is amazing! She likely will not be able to accommodate new patients for very much longer because everyone wants to transfer to her! I have never felt so comfortable in an OBGYN's office. She is efficient, and follows current guidelines and recommendations. Doctor's offices are never really "perfect", but this one is as close as you can get. The staff does their very best to accommodate the patients, and I have had an excellent experience at this practice. Highly Recommended.

I absolutely love coming to see Dr. Stickley and her staff! What a breath of fresh air for the women of Hilo! She is kind, attentive, and cheerful! Her staff is also wonderful. They are incredibly helpful, and have gone above and beyond to assist me with prior authorizations for a medication other offices were unable to get approved. Hilo is very lucky to have this wonderful doctor as part of the community!

Initially, this doctor was friendly And personable. After taking several tests, I was not notified of any results. I called and left many messages; no call backs. After several week her staff called and told me I needed to schedule an appointment for my results. I had to wait 5 1/2 weeks to receive some very negative results. When I told her it was very stressful to wait that long she got defensive and told me she was discharging me as her patient. She told me she too busy to call me or email me and she has so many patients to help, yet she is still taking new patients. She either needs help with time management or she needs to serve the patients she has and stop taking new ones. Very shocking!

The women in this office tell you that you’ll receive a call back in 1-2 days, but I’ve been waiting over 3 weeks and nobody actually calls back. Something is wrong with the women at this doctor’s office. If you need medical help, there are many other doctors in Hilo to go to where they do NOT treat patients so awful like they do at Dr. Stickley’s.
