Fantastic doctor!!!

Dr. Basseri was excellent. It was incredible the way he worked with the GI specialists. After I was diagnosed by the GI, I immediately met with Dr. Basseri to discuss surgery. He went way above and beyond by scheduling my surgery the day after I was diagnosed. Only the most flexible and skilled surgeons have the confidence to do this. He was kind, compassionate, articulate, and to top it off a dynamite surgeon. I feel amazing and it is only two weeks post-op. There are not enough words to describe the gratitude I feel towards the doctors, nurses, and staff at GABH and the KB Surgical Center. If all healthcare offices functioned this way, the United States would rank #1 in healthcare worldwide! Thank you to GABH and KB for making such a difference in the quality of my life!

An amazing surgeon that took the time to listen to what I needed, and explained how weight loss surgery works! I was excited about moving forward and going through with the surgery. My life is so much better and I would highly recommend you go to the Khalili Center to have weight loss surgery. They are the best!

Wouldn't go anywhere else than the Khalili Center. Dr. Basseri is an amazing surgeon and very charismatic. He made me feel comfortable about the decision to have weight loss surgery. Making that decision can be difficult, but the staff at his office were very warm and helpful in the process.

Dr. Basseri is wonderful. I recommend him and the Khalili Center if you want to get weight loss surgery. Recently I had my check up and I have kept off over 100 pounds. I am healthy now. Dr. Basseri has been a big cheerleader. I am very thankful to him.

Dr. Basseri started out being the best doctor I have ever met. He was so polite and helpful and he was a great surgical doctor for me I had gastric banding in 2012 and he has been very professional and helpful to me. But lately I have found his demeanor and tardiness as offensive and his lack of time with me as rude. I understand that doctors are busy, but it would be better to set up better expectations in the beginning of the relationship. Then I would know what to expect. I do love the Khalili Center and I am very happy I got banded.

I was referred to Dr Basseri by my PCP for gastric bypass surgery, his professionalism and really warm manner put me at ease and his confidence was very well received. Follow up care post operatively has been very thorough and complete, access to him for any questions or appointments has been easy and very prompt. I can't recommend him and his associates at the Khalili Bariatric Center enough.

I just had my Lap Band Surgery done with Dr Basseri, and the surgeons at the Khalili Center. The process was just out of this world great, Dr Basseri gave me the much needed support I needed to go through this life changing step. Early I was not ready to do any type of surgery, with my weight out of control, and my health getting worst by the day, I had to do something. Two of my buddies got the lap band (not with Dr Basseri,) one did it out of a office in Irvine, CA that did his surgery in Mexico, which I do not know why after all the horror stories you hear. Another one of my friends did it through his HMO, do not know the name of the doctor, once these two had done the surgery, came 2011, I started looking into the process and searching many doctors. Came across Doctor Basseri through a friend, after a couple meetings and a lot of research, I found this to be my doctor, and must I say, I made the correct choice. They facility looks like it is straight out of a movie, very nice. Free… valet parking, you get that 90210 feel. They support groups where just great, people from all walks of life, people who are doing the surgery and people who had it done. The support groups are free, so I had a chance to feel in those couple of questions I had left over to ask.I was having some financial problems and almost canceled the surgery, but Doctor Basseri called me and told me "Alex, if money is the issue, do not worry about it, but if your changing your mind because of something else, that is different." I was almost in tears, no doubt about it, they helped me get to the goal amount I needed to push through the surgery. I am typing this the day after my surgery, and I feel great. I'm moving around, at back to work (depending on your line of work, you might not be able to go back to work.) I work behind a computer, so it is simple for me.A little about the surgery, another reason I went with the Khalili center was because they used Cedars-Sinai Hospital to do the surgery, rather then in house. The problem with in house Lap Band surgery is that if your heart stops, most likely they will have to call an ambulance to come take you to a hospital, if your in a hospital they have the tools within seconds and can attempt to start your heat back up. It is very rare for your heart to stop, but hey, you do not want to be that one!
