Dr. Eric E Goldberg has the following 2 specialties
A psychiatrist is a doctor with specific training in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness.
He or she can not only provide the counseling necessary to both diagnose and treat a patient, but can also prescribe medication when needed. In some cases, a psychiatrist will only provide the medication and the counseling will be provided by another healthcare specialist, like a certified counselor or psychologist.
Like other doctors, psychiatrists employ diagnostic tools like CT scans and MRI in order to observe the structure and function of a patient's brain.
Once a diagnosis is made, these specialists may use behavior or cognitive therapy in order to address the patient's condition, or a multitude of other types of therapy, in conjunction with or in place of medication.
A neurologist is a physician who diagnoses and treats disorders of the nervous system which is comprised of the brain, spinal cord and nerves. These doctors do not perform surgery, but refer patients to neurological surgeons when they determine that surgical intervention is necessary.
Some of the conditions that neurologists diagnose and treat are epilepsy, aneurysms, hydrocephalus, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, spinal disc herniation, and spinal disease.
In addition to using diagnostic tests like MRI, CT scans, EEG and EMG, neurologists also employ neurological testing to gauge muscle strength and movement, balance, reflexes, sensation, memory, speech, and other cognitive abilities.

Dr. Goldberg has a very good manner with all patients. He is of the most outstanding medical professionals that I have met. He has done wonders for me, and I have a high level of confidence in him, as well as the rest of his staff. Unfortunately his office cannot Bill Insurance directly so you have to submit the claim yourself. He also does very well in family scenarios. I truly am impressed with his insight. As far as I'm concerned he's the best money can buy.
To sum up my experience with Dr. Goldberg, words such as "imcompetent", "egotistical" and "conniving" come to mind. My initial contact with his office provided a false representation of the services that I would recieve under his care. Dr. Goldberg displayed complete negligence in establishing a treatment plan for my well being. His approach to treating patients includes a "no questions" policy. He treats mental illness as an opportunity for his own personal financial gain. Failure to comply with all of his ever-changing policies will result in unfounded dismissal from his practice as well as interference with patients' ability to receive treatment from other providers. Not only would I not recommend Dr. Goldberg to anyone seeking treatment, I would also encourage those under his care to develop a contingency plan.
I took the time to google this so I will leave a remark. I believe Dr. Goldberg is an excellent Dr. from what I have experienced. He seems knowledgeable and perspicacious. His methods are au currant yet formally grounded. He is open to alternative methods and ideals and helpful in a respective manner. He understands the importance of an efficient staff and respects the financial situations of his clients. I would recommend Dr. Goldberg to anyone with psychiatric needs. That is all.
