I was a patient for 12 years asked the good dr to help me get off the meds he was supplying. he gave me one week worth of suboxin after that was gone he told i should be just fine see you latter and good luck.he said. but that was not the case after being sick as wanting to Die. I felt I had no choice but to beg to please be put back on his drugs
He has made it possible for me to have a life worth living, I have seen people walk in his office after having back surgery or some kind of hack job and I refuse to have surgery, if I still need to see a pain management Dr. after why cut up your spine?? It is so very sad to see these people. I have been going to Dr. Gosy sense 2007 and he has allowed me to function, because I don't suffer from the constant pain. I don't care what people think of my choice, walk a day in my shoes. People are so afraid of taking medication but have no problem cracking open a beer at 9:00am. and continue to drink all day and they call it "partying". I learned that Alcohol when abused is just as bad as having a heroin addiction so stop judging people, because I can run circles around you I am healthy and active because Dr. Gosy took a risk and that's what happens when you take a risk people feel that they have the right to judge. I am a full time worker never lost any time because of taking pain meds. yet I know of a few people that miss days and days of work because of hang overs or whatever...God Bless you Dr. Gosy your my hero.
I was seeing Dr Gosy following a car accident. I originally was seen for a fracture that was not healing properly and I was experiencing tremendous pain. It was later diagnosed as RSD a condition that leaves you in almost constant pain. Dr Gosy as well as his staff freely prescribed me several narcotics. When one didn't work they would prescribe another. It was easy to get a script there and often you didn't have to be seen. This office was always crowded with patients that were obviously under the influence. I am still experiencing tremendous pain but stopped going to Dr Gosy His solution for everything was more drugs. Also, unused drugs were taken by staff and flushed down their toilets. I had never seen this before and when I questioned them I was told this was normal procedure.
Dr Gosy is filled with human kindness and compassion. HIS STAFF ARE CRUEL, ruthless, SARCASTIC and Dismissive. Maybe the" stress "has gotten to them:" POOR BABIES"..how they suffer from Too Many phone calls from abandonned patients. The STAFF are heartless., They are not the patients HIT BY A CAR , unable to walk or play. One spine surgery after the other. THEY GOT RID OF THE WRONG PEOPLE THERE. KEEP PHYSICIANLY GOSY and get rid of the "girls" who answer the phone. They are not WOMEN. They have no feeling nor maturity. They are nasty sarcastic no power meanies.
I was a patient for about 6 months. I saw Dr. Gosy on initial visit & I was impressed. He was very nice. He passed me on to an associate & I was doing good. They were trying to tweak my meds & adjust them. I called the Dr assigned to me a week after my appt to say the meds were good, but too weak. Dr told me to double my dose & call when I was low to get another prescription. When I was almost out, I called for more meds & found out my Dr was out on maternity leave. The nurse was extremely rude. Told me that I was "self-medicating" and running out of meds was my fault for not taking my meds as prescribed. I begged to talk to Dr. Gosy & she refused. Said I had to suffer until my next appt in 2 wks. I dropped Dr Gosy & went elsewhere... Not because of him or his associate, but because of his nurse. I would gladly have continued as his patient if his staff had treated me better.
