When my children were young I had good experiences. The last time we visited Dr. Panoushis, my daughter was 11 and my son was 15. Her nurse placed them in the same examination room until I requested a change. Then when I requested to have the male medical student leave during my daughter’s examination, Dr. Panoushis rolled her eyes at me and asked him to just turn around.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Panoushi since birth (she is almost 12 ) and we feel that our child always recieves quality care and attention. Dr. P is thorough and direct with her communication. Wouldn't trade her for anybody else.

We've been seeing Dr. P for 10 years. She is a great listener, takes the children's questions seriously and always takes the extra time to explore any issues. I highly recommend her to anyone with a new baby as well as preteens!

Dr. Panoushis is the best pediatrician in Chicago. She always gives us the time. She is a brilliant diagnostician and she is always helpful to my child. I love her empathy combined with her brilliance.

Doctor P gets me in when ever my boys are sick and my boys love her. She is very thorough and takes time to explain what is wrong and the best way to treat the situation. She will also give me samples at times when she has them. All my friends have switched to her and love her.

Dr. Panoushis is not overall a horrible doctor but she does talk down to the parents and is rude. The other poster is right. If she is having a bad day watch out!! I personally didn't appreciate her mouthing off at me and have since then left that office. The same day I was pulling the files another Mom was doing the same thing for the same reason.

After witnessing a full blown tantrum, watch out for Dr. Panoushis if she's having a bad day. She has an extremely bad temper and is very rude!
