Dr. Eva S Arkin, MD

I have known Eva Arkin for 35 years. She delivered my daughter who is now 34. Throughout my life I have gone back to her practice because of her knowledge & her kindness. She is an outstanding doctor & person.

This Dr refused to see me on my scheduled appt for fear i was exposed to COVID19 when i honestly answered to the question that i do work with Covid +patients - I am outraged by her unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge of proper usage of PPE , which I always wear and explained to the staff that I do when caring for my patients !! Also the entire staff at this office were all wearing their N95 masks and I was the only one in the waiting room !! So why would you refuse treating me ? Its wrong on all levels and you should be reprimanded for your negligent behaviors as a physician giving care !

She’s been my Dr since 16 yrs old and now at 40, I wouldn’t have it any other way. She is AMAZING, and I trust her with my life. She’s gotten me through horrible experiences and she’s incredible. You’re lucky if you have her.

Dr. Arkin's office schedules appointments only to run behind 45 - 75 minutes. For my visit in Feb. 2018, I was on time yet waited 1-1/2 hours which caused me to miss an appointment afterward. My follow-up exam was worse. I arrived at 11:55 for a noon appointment and it was 12:40 pm before they said it would be another 30-40 minutes. I doubt Dr. Arkin would wait for her accountant that long without switching accountants! Bottom line is that they don't value a patient's time or care that we're taking time off work to be there. Also, when they weigh you it is done in an open hallway which also doubles as an interior waiting room. Right there for all the world to hear and see they asked me if I wanted to opt in for STD testing. Talk about lack of privacy. Parking costs $6 and they DO NOT validate.

I was recently 15 minutes late for an appt. I was told I could not see the doctor that day & that I'd have to reschedule. I explained that I had run into unexpected traffic & showed Lori Robinson my cell phone where I had called their office twice. Each time my call went to voicemail. Ms Robinson refused to even ask Dr Arkin if she could still see me. Instead, she kept repeating that I would have to reschedule my appt. Since I had driven almost an hour to get there, I told her that I would not have come in & paid to park if they would have answered their phone & told me they could not see me if I was late. She wouldn't respond to my complaint about their failure to answer the phone .Instead, she kept repeating that I would have to reschedule & told me to leave the office. Ms Robinson got up from her chair, stood in the middle of the doorway & threatened to call security if I did not leave. I asked Ms Robinson to move away from the doorway of her office. She refused to move & kept… threatening to call security. As I walked past Ms Robinson, she put her hand on my shoulder & slightly pushed me. I was furious! I raised my voice & yelled, "Don't you dare touch me!" She didn't know what to say & raised her hands above her head. At that point, I should have called the police & had her arrested for battery. Several days later I received a poorly written letter, allegedly from Dr Arkin. It made reference to my issue with Ms Robinson & stated that I needed to find another doctor. Dr Arkin's signature on the letter did not match her signature on other correspondence in my files. I have been a patient of Dr Arkin for more than 15 years & I doubt Dr Arkin is even aware of that letter. \

Eva Arkin is an incredible combination of skill, expertise, warmth, caring, and listening. I have gone to her for almost 30 years and feel like the level of care I receive is the best. I am grateful to have her for my doctor.

I have been going to Premier Care and seeing Dr. Arkin for several years. Arkin is too ready to hand out samples of bioidentical hormones. I was totally non symptomatic; yet, due to being peri-menopausal, Arkin gave me samples of bioidentical hormones to take without any explanation of all of the side effects associated with taking the medication. It was a nightmare experience which I have since gone off the BHRT. The side effects are reducing but not completely gone. As a follow-up to the side effects of the BHRT, Arkin continues to push BHRT to me even though I have NO symptoms associated with menopause at this time!

Dr Arkin is one of the most compassionalte and knowledgeable physicians I have ever been to. I would highly recommend her. She took time wiht me and made sure all of my questions were answered. Additionally all of the staff was friendly and helpful.
