I absolutely would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone, especially to children. I had this doctor for 3 years (between the tender ages of 15-18) for diabetes type 1. My A1c was 6.8 four times in a row and yet she would scold me to the point of tears because I would test my blood sugar only 3 times per day instead of 4 or more times. She made me feel like a complete failure even though my A1c was perfect. I eventually became so physiologically defeated that I quit taking care of myself. I figured if perfection wasn't good enough, then why bother at all. It took me over 10 years to undo the damage she did in those 3 years. And I am still not back to a 6.8 A1c at my current age of 31.
