Dr. Edward Ratush, MD

this physician is excellent, understanding and compassionate. I saw him when I was at my lowest and he essentially saved me, and I continue to see him now. The staff is amazing (Vera) and they are equally compassionate and attentive, I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Ratush has been my psychiatrist for nearly three years. He got me through a major recovery, and his ongoing treatment has been exceptional. I feel fortunate to have him as my doctor.

This is not about Dr. Ratush, but rather his receptionist and their appointment confirmation policy. I made an appointment with Dr. Ratush's office a week ago via ZocDoc. They called me the day before the appointment in the late afternoon to confirm the appointment, but I missed the call since I was at work. By the time I noticed the missed call about hour later and called back to confirm, the office was closed and I left a message to confirm. They called again 2 hours before my appointment to confirm my insurance info. After I confirmed it, they then told me they have to see if they have a different time available, because I did not confirm in time and I have lost my appointment slot! When I said I called and left a message yesterday, the very rude lady on the other end said they needed to speak to me directly to confirm it, and that they attempted to contact me but I did not respond! I cannot believe they are trying to put the blame on me for "not responding in time", when they have… given me less than an hour to get back to them! If they needed to speak to me directly, they need to give at least 24 hour notice. This is just unacceptable. The receptionist was very rude and the way they just canceled my appointment because they did not contact me early enough and give me enough time to call back is unbelievable. They've waste a lot of my time, and I will never use this doctor.

Greatest psychiatrist ever! He is smart, compassionate, knows how to listen, is honest and always there when you need him. I love that he also reccomens yoga, meditation and has a modern and holistic approach.

Great specialist. Received care in a very professional manner. Easy to talk to, smart and caring.

While it is not cheap to see Dr. Ratush, the luxury price is matched with luxury service. Dr. Ratush is attentive, smart, caring and most of all available to his patients around the clock.
