My husband has IPF which is a debilitating disorder. He also uses a CPAP machine. The Nurse or Office Assistant we saw was not intelligent enough to make the connection we were there for the IPF which we indicated when filling out forms. When we shared with office assistant my husband had seen another Pulmonary Doctor but Dr. Monge and Dr. Bobe came highly recommended. She asked to see the data for my husband's CPAP Machine and left the room. When she returned she said they couldn't see us bc we had seen another doctor in Port Charlotte area! I asked was this office policy? We couldn't be seen or wouldn't be seen? Most unprofessional medical environment I've personally ever been in and I worked in the medical industry for 15 years.

This Doctor is a disgrace to the idea of healing the sick. He is rude, condescending, and incredibly arrogant. If you dare disagree with him, he becomes aggressive and argumentative. He acts in terms of he is always right and doesn't waiver from that notion. I have never been treated with as much disrespect from another medical professional as I was the day I visited his office. He talks down to his patients and treats them like they know nothing. His bedside manner is horrible and him seems to lack empathy. I would highly recommend to everyone, that they research their doctors and read reviews before visiting. In conlusion I would absolutely not recommend this doctor.

Had very bad experience with this doctor. Result I am left with a permanent disability. I would never go back! Stay away. No good.

I have been seeing Dr. Monge for two years and find him to be a very caring physician, willing to spend time discussing your health and not making you feel he is rushing, He has gotten my asthma under control for which I am very thankful.

I would really like to know if my ailment has a name and if I ever find out what it is. I go one more time, (third appointment) and if the Dr does not want to tell me , or can not tell me than I have to say good bye.
