Dr. Fadi Abu Shahin, MD

Horrible. Dr. Abu Shahin and his office staff should be embarrassed by the service I received. 1) Dec 2022 called a verified that the practice accepts all marketplace plans. I chose a plan and called back to confirm participation. Got a verbal “yes.” 2) called four days before my appointment to give new insurance info. Was informed that while the Dr accepts the insurance none of hospitals where he has privileges do. 3) I was still able to change my insurance starting in February, so I delayed my appointment till Feb 1, abs selected new insurance that they participate with (again, confirmed again by the office and I also called the hospital system to confirm. 4) before walking into my appointment, I triple confirmed that they entered my info and they participate etc. After my appointment- which from a medical standpoint was a “B” at best- I quadruple confirmed and was asked to pay the copay on the card for my “new plan” in February. 5) Long separate story about the front desk person’s… incompetence with scheduling my follow up appointment and related CAT scan. The day before the CAT scan I get a text from the imaging practice that my appointment has been cancelled because it was not approved. This led me to call Abu Sharon’s office to ensure that they had transmitted all the required information. 6) here’s what they said “oh, sorry, we’ve been meaning to call you, we actually don’t participate with your plan. Note: I had already changed plans TWICE for them!!! 7) in follow on conversations, and correspondence, they now expect me to pay $200 MORE for the initial consult!!!! 8) now they aren’t answering their phone….. weird…

Dr Fadi is so excellent and so is his staff. They are all always pleasant to everyone. As a doctor he listens and explains everything in detail and with options. Through surgery and chemo he has been wonderful, I couldn't want for a better doctor and my husband agrees. He is thoughtful and easy to talk to. So glad we found him.

Dr Abu shahin and his staff were wonderful, they treated me with respect and kindness, answered all my questions, took his time, the care in the hospital was care, I recovered from the surgery without issues and much faster than I expected, I am grateful for his care and would highly recommend him.

Wonderful doctor and staff!! The doctor was very kind and took all the time needed to explain everything and made sure that he answered all of my questions at every visit, both before and after surgery. I never felt rushed. Also, I never had to wait too long for my appointments. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. I had to have forms filled out, and they were very prompt in doing so and getting them back to me. I highly recommend Dr. Abu Shahin.

Dr. Abu Shahin made me feel very good about the next chapter in life I was headed for... every step of the way I felt comfortable and in good hands. All said and done had my recheck today and again the doctor was excellent. I would recommend this office and doctor again and again, see you in 6 months :)

Dr Abu Shahin is not only a very intelligent man, but a very caring Dr., too. He listens to my questions and answers in ways I can understand. No question is too silly. I would refer him to anyone with any gynecology problems.

Dr. Abu Shahin is the best surgeon I have encountered. During our consultation he was very thorough in his explanation of why I should have the surgery and how it was going to be performed. His exam was very professional. He is the type of surgeon who cares as much about the patient as the outcome of the surgery itself. He was at my side prior to the surgery and there when I woke up. I was very impressed with his bedside manner, he was both warm and compassionate. Following his post-operative instructions, I had no pain and had no need of pain medication.

He is truly one of the best doctors in the area. Very thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate. I would recommend him to anyone that needs great care from an amazing doctor.

Dr. Abu Shahin was amazing. He knows his stuff. He is always with a smile. The staff was great as well.
