Dr. Fahim Rahim, MD

We are pleased to recommend Naeem Rahim, M.D., a talented Nephrologist who is board-certified in both Nephrology and Internal Medicine.

A native of Pakistan, Dr. Rahim graduated from Aga Khan University Medical College and completed his residency at the Westchester Medical Center in New York, where he was awarded Excellence in Teaching and Best Resident for two years. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Society of Nephrology.

Dr. Rahim and his brother own and operate the Idaho Kidney Institute, with offices in Pocatello, Blackfoot, and Idaho Falls. The dialysis center at Bingham Memorial Hospital specializes in the treatment of chronic kidney disease. They employ state-of-the-art procedures and therapies to treat chronic kidney disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, post kidney transplant care, internal medicine, diabetes related kidney problems, anemia and dialysis.

He and his wife have two beautiful children. He is fluent in …English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi. He has become an outdoor enthusiast since moving to Pocatello. In his spare time he enjoys running, mountain biking, and an occasional game of paintball.
