Dr. Faith Mary Crumpler, MD

Dr. Crumpler is not warm, does not seem caring, appears as though she does not like her job. IMHO she needs some communication training so she can better relate to patients.

A care provider who doesn’t care. There’s a reason why she has so much availability.

I am writing this comment to say first I couldn't agree more with the other patients who saw Dr. Crumpler like I did. First, as a medical doctor, Crumpler is rude, cold and insensitive. When I was a patient of hers at Lifelong Medical in Oakland, Crumpler treated me as though I'm ignorant. She actually had the nerve to tell me she didn't feel that I should ever have children because "....your age is going to be a problem...." That's ignorant of her to say cause she didn't do preliminary tests first to rule things out!!! To make a long story short, she wasted precious time on a computer in the lobby and then is rude to again and wastes another ten minutes on her iPhone. I don't understand how Crumpler should be allowed to practice medicine. This is not the first I've heard bad things about her, but she should be trained or fired for her poor doctrine!!!! Lastly, I tried informing Lifelong Medical about the pathetic visit with Crumpler. They told me she was "right" and… "just trying to tell me for me own good." Next time Dr. Crumpler do your research and stop treating patients like they don't know anything! And don't EVER tell a patient "you should use an ovulation kit because it's cheaper than having a baby....." Grrrrrr...

One medical has really been going downhill. I've been with them for 4 years and lately all my visits show that their doctors are not REAL doctors. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. They don't listen to your needs or have an ounce of genuinety in them. They just brush you off till the next appointment. PLUS I always feel rushed. I was in search of a new doctor because of my experience with different doctors in the SF offices, and Dr. Faith Crumpler seemed liked she could be a good doctor, as I've heard great things about the Burlingame office. She was new. I gave it a shot. I was SO wrong. I was late ~10 minutes, and I called the front desk, and they were nice about it. But when I had met Dr. Crumpler, I don't even recall her saying who she was and asking how I was. I said I was real sorry I was late, and she goes ahead and says "We'll have to go through this appointment with whatever time we have left and can only go through 1 thing." I think a normal caring doctor would have… introduced themselves, asked how I was doing, or even just be genuine, or even say, oh no worries about that. We'll do our best to cover your needs. The entire 10-15 I was there talking to her (I had to rush it cause well I only had "10 minutes"), she didn't seem genuine (didn't even show in her face), did not care about my concern, but instead "slapped my wrist for not following orders". Worst experience with her & visit with OM. I've never had any other doctors treat me like this, neither should any patient feel what I felt.

Feels like One Medical is going downhill. Like others have said, she's cold to the point of being mean. Something must be going on in her life, but it's like she takes it out on her patients. Treated me but chided me for asking for a prescription refill.

This doctor did absolutely nothing for my husband who arrived in acute pain in his jaw. He thought he had A cold virus that was causing pain to settle in his jaw. He left the doctors office with an order for a jaw x-ray and a possible diagnosis of “arthritis“. Within 20 minutes his pain was so excruciating that I called my dentist and got him in there ASAP. Turns out he had an abscessed tooth and he did have an infection that was very serious. Dr. Crumpler did nothing to help and did not even suggested dentist visit.

She was cold, didn't ask questions and didn't follow-up. Spent the entire appointment looking at her computer, and at one point, actually smirked at me. Very strange manner. She has nothing to offer as a medical professional, and I'll never go back. I went in for a specific issue, which she never addressed and also did not order the necessary bloodwork. I had to call back to the clinic to make sure the lab called the doctor. It felt like I had to do all the work. I'm not sure what utility she has. Very sad experience :-(

Dr. Crumpler was impersonable - I felt like she could care less about me. She didn't say hi or bye to me. She did not ask me the reason for me coming in, and did not proactively ask about the pain I was in. She immediately talked about as a new patient how I would have to go through all sorts of tests, which as someone who hates doctors scared me right out. I won't be coming back.

First of all, let me just say that during the time that I saw Dr. Crumpler, she didn't take the time to answer any of my questions. Her attitude was impersonal, brief and missing some points. For example, Dr. Crumpler wasted? a total of thirty five precious minutes of the appointment time. Instead of her asking me questions about my condition, she spent time on the internet looking into the patient database/portal? to get answers. So next time, I would suggest for Dr. Crumpler to spend more time getting to know the actual patient instead of looking on a computer for answers! Dr. Crumpler did not even schedule a follow-up or anything else for me to see a specialist!

Based upon my recent visit with Dr.Crumpler, I give her low ratings simply because I wanted to ask her about a very sensitive topic that concerns the ability to plan a family after a certain age. I had originally expected this visit to be a little more encouraging. But to my dismay, this visit made me feel worse. For example, Dr. Crumpler's disposition during the appointment was obscure, opaque, cold, unsympathetic and foggy! Her attitude was that she really didn't want me to think about trying to plan a family at my age! She was too lazy to follow up and take further steps. She rushed me away from the appointment. She didn't take the time to extend my treatment or make additional steps to consult with the Women's Health Center at the nearby campus. Or she could have referred me over to an Internal Medicine doctor or an OBGYN to answer my particular question. Dr. Crumpler did not take the time to get to know my situation. She was very brisk and snappy in her attitude. I… don't recommend seeing Dr.Crumpler. You will get low budget advice, attitude and lip service! What a waste of time!
