Referred for ECT. Good explanations of recommendations and treatment. Hard to get office to contact insurance as needed.

I do not recommend this man. He does not care for his patients. Worst experience ever.

Dr. Sholevar is patient, empathetic, and very knowledgeable. After years of misdiagnosis, He properly diagnosed me and has given me the help I need!

Dr. Sholevar is a gentle knowledgeable straight forward physician. I would recommend him in a flash.

He's spread too thin, and has no time for actually trying to help patients. 4 months was the soonest he had available for a decades-long patient of his after leaving the hospital. His assistant actually insinuated that to be seen by him it might be the best option to admit back into the hospital!!!

He berated and belittled me for questioning his methods. VERY unprofessional and unethical for a psychiatrist to treat a patient the way he did!!

I have called his office two days in a row leaving a msg. to call me back to either schedule an appt. or, if he's not taking new patients, to refer me to someone who is. Always get voice msg. that they're on "another" call. Must be a very long call, indeed.
