Dr. Farhat Selim Khairallah, MD

Dr. Khairallah is personable and truly interested in his patients. He is an impressive physician. I have utmost confidence in him...I am AFIB free thanks to him.

I'm in my mid-30's and have experienced multiple symptoms of cardiac complications. I waited 45 minutes for my appointment, and Dr. Khairallah was in and out in under five minutes. Issued the standard tests and said, "Your symptoms aren't explained by a PBBB or PVC." He couldn't get out of there quickly enough. After all the tests, his P.A. spent 5 minutes with me saying, "Everything with your heart came back perfectly normal. You can take an ACE inhibitor (and all potential side effects) for the PVC, but otherwise we found nothing obvious." Then, I was on my way. So the cause(s) of my symptoms were left undiagnosed, unexplained, and with no referral to any other kind of specialist. BUT, I'm left with bills totally $1,250 for tests+visits that didn't target the source of my symptoms?! They bill you $250 for a "60 minute Office Consultation" PLUS $30 for a "Routine ECG," but only spend 5 minutes with you! I get the age-old 'hourly going rate,' but shouldn't you be doing… more as a doctor when you acknowledge that: previously diagnosed conditions aren't attributed to the current symptoms? Why were the standard ECG, stress test, and heart event monitor prescribed in the first place? You made zero attempt to address the symptoms that caused my referral! I will not be going back to SMG.

Dr. Khairallah is extremely intelligent, but he is also caring and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone, without reservation.

Dr. Khairallah MD is the Best Heart doctor ever he take time for u to talk and ask questions he's is the BEST .

This guy is aweful. All he wants to do is ablations on people.

I've only seen him once. The other times I've seen his physician Lyuda and the only time I saw him was very brief. Maybe 10 minutes and he gave a diagnosis. He's alright, but I'm not impressed. I like Lyuda but she tends to always seem worried which doesn't help my anxiety. I really wish that they'd offer home check ups for certain patients as it is very hard for me to go anywhere. I get extremely worked up prior and during visits. Plus, they induce my POTS symptoms since I'm in rooms with bright lights and nothing to keep me cool.

Dr. Kahirallah misdiagnosed my father recently and was pushing for a VERY unnecessary and DANGEROUS surgery. He was "not available" to do a consult - even after it was requested - prior to surgery. Upon a second and third opinion- and further testing, my father learned he was completely misdiagnosed and all surgery (which was planned at another group based on Kahirallah's findings) was completely called off. Oh - and the second and third opinions come from THE top cardiology hospital in the country. Question everything, always get a second opinion and if the doctor doesn't have time for you, as this one didn't - remember another will!

Dr. Khairallah and his staff are extremely knowledgable and thorough. The stress test they did on my teenaged daughter was top notch and they found a needle in a haystack arrhythmia that is potential fatal. While he may not be Dr. Smiley, he has a true compassion for his patients and knowledge about electrophysiology. Highly recommended.

Honest to God: In the middle of a real medical crisis, once he found out that I had sought a second opinion from Shands, he refused to treat me, as did everyone else in his practice. Since they are basically the only game in town, I must now go elsewhere for treatment. He sure showed me.
