At a most difficult time in my life, Dr. Yang and the staff at Virginia Piper Cancer Center at Shea, provided excellent care and compassion. I felt they treated me as an individual rather than just another number walking through the revolving door of cancer treatment.

Dr. Yang is a superb physician - totally professional, caring, and had that ability to instill confidence. I immediately felt that I was in good hands and this continued throughout the entire course of treatment.

The only doctor who showed my mother and myself compassion during her four year battle with ovarian cancer. The only doctor that called me after my mothers death. He made us understand everything that was happening. He made this very scary time easier for all of us. An angel on earth.

Dr Yang is kind, compassionate,and very knowledgeable.He takes the time to listen and to answer questions. You never feel that you are being rushed. I strongly recommend him. His staff is always friendly and courteous.

Dr. Yang was my dad's oncologist when he was going through lung cancer. Even though it was a very difficult situation, Dr. Yang not only explained everything to us step-by-step, but he did so in a VERY caring, compassionate, and calm manner. We never felt rushed and always felt like he truly cared. He was the ONLY physician of all of my dad's doctors that sent us a personal note a year after treatment to see how he was doing. Not only is he EXCEPTIONAL but his staff is kind, friendly and goes way above and beyond. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing radiation treatment.
