Dr. Farzin R Namei, MD

Dr Namei is a wonderful doctor with a great bed side manor. His staff is dedicated to patient care. I can always get an appointment or he will call himself, which most doctors don't due anymore. Most of the patient you speak with in the lobby have been his patients for many years. This must prove something.

Long wait times, the lab messed up, incorrect billing codes, absolutely a terrible experience. Went in for a simple physical that is supposed to be 100% covered by BCBS Michigan and I am still receiving new bills 6 months later. Don't go to this doctor unless you are looking to get ripped off, this guy is a scam.

This Doctor is an absolute joke. Do NOT put your health into this mans hands. He is only seeing you to take your money, an hour and a half after your appointment of course, and put you on completely unnecessary medications. Need paperwork? Don't worry, the saff is always ready to lose it, make excuses about why it hasnt been done, forget to fax it, or just make you the least of their priorities. I have never had such an awful doctor in my entire life.

Dr Namei and his very wonderful staff are an exception to the rule!! They are a truly wonderful group of caring individuals. The appts are never over booked and hardly have I ever waited. Dr namei DOES NOT rush in and out of the room. You receive his full attn and it is wonderful knowing he can reference your previous appt and anything medical or personal you may have discussed which affirms he is very genuine!! Same for all of his staff.

I totally recommend this doctor! Dr.namei takes the time to explain your health issues, Also goes out of his way to help his patients.

Great doctor. He listens to everything you say and goes above and beyond with helping diagnosis. Only problem I have had is that there is never any follow ups after appointments or even reminder calls for yearly check ups which could be partially his staffs fault. Example.. I have had a reoccurring issue with my left knee, he put me on medication and gave me print outs on how to strengthen my knee. Also, he scheduled an x-ray of my knee. Where the issue takes part is that I had to call and ask for x-ray results and told me not to run for 3 months or any other exercises that puts too much strain on my knee. I would think after those three months at least, that I would have received a call to see if the pain ever went away and if I am back to running. I need to make my yearly health check up appoint soon and I will be addressing my concern since I do feel beyond that, he is a great doctor.

Dr, Namei always listens to the patient. He is a great doctor who truly cares about his patients. I am lucky he is my doctor as he has always fit me in his very busy schedule if I needed medical care.

Dr. Namei is one of the most compassionate doctors (and I have had many) I have ever had. Also, he is the type of doctor who works "with" a patient rather than merely dictating what any medical approach will be. And he isn't the type to crucify you for reading articles on the internet about a medical issue. He has never made me feel that he's rushed to get out of the room either. I can typically get an appointment the same day or the day after. His partner, Dr. Okerson, is a very sweet fill-in too if Dr. Namei isn't available on a given day.

I am at this moment recommending Dr. Namei to my friend. He is caring and takes time to talk and remembers personal information as well. He does not order a bunch of unnecessary tests nor does he prescribe unnecessary medications. He will however give 3 month doses and some refillable rather than have a person come in every 30 days and pay that awful office visit just to say I need a refill and get it. I'm very happy with him.
