Dr. Felice Antonino Caldarella, MD

I have type 1 diabetes for 55 years. Dr Calderella is the best doctor. His office was out of business last year. No idea why. :(

I have had Type 1 diabetes for 50 years. Dr. Caldarella is by far the best doctor I have had to help with the management of diabetes. He doesn't treat you according to statistics but instead he treats you according to what your lifestyle is. I would highly recommend!

I was a patient of Dr. Caldarella for about 10 years during which time I was treated for hypothyroidism. He detected nodules on my thyroid and referred me for an ultrasound. Fortunately the modules were small and did not require any treatment. During each yearly visit they were checked but didn’t grow and thankfully they actually diminished in size. I found this doctor to be thorough, informative, attentive and caring. I definitely recommend.

Dr. Caldarella laughed at me and said I would be overweight for the rest of my life, shortly after I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism Hashimoto's 5 years ago when I was only 24 (I have the rest of my life to live). I kept searching, read some of the most innovative thyroid literature out there (Dr. Datis Kharrazian's and Dr. Izabella Wentz's works), eventually found a functional naturopath who is willing to treat the root underlying cause of my thyroid problem and, now with supplements and routine bloodwork, combined with following the Autoimmune Protocol diet (AIP), I have gotten back down to my traditional adult weight of 110 pounds (which is what I always was, until I was diagnosed and suddenly was tired for no reason all the time and also gained 20 pounds). Do not see this doctor. It's a waste of your time.
