Worse Doctor / specialist I have ever had the displeasure to see, very rude, very harsh and his "diagnosis" involved nothing more that feeling my joints for swelling. If you enjoy being grilled and interrogated rather than being consolidated, this might be the doctor for you. Felt like punching him after visit- also rude to us American's- made comment to me "if all you Americans didn't eat so many hamburgers, maybe you all wouldn't have so many health problems". the way he phrased everything it seemed like he was always blaming me for chronic illnesses / conditions like it was my fault contracting medical problems / debilitating diseases. Luckily there are other Doctors in this field and nothing (other than the rudeness) makes this guy special in the least. Whats really odd is that His staff was excellent- very nice and accommodating-

Dr. Alani is by far the kindest, most compassionate, and sincere doctor I have ever encountered. He is personable, patient, and treats you like a real person instead of just the next appointment, which unfortunately is quite difficult to find today in this profession. I HIGHLY recommend him! His office staff, especially his nurse, Nan, is EXCEPTIONAL in every way as well. She often went above and beyond to ease the uncertainty and unfamiliarity of finding yourself in need of heart care.

I'm not easily impressed by doctors. This doctor was pleasant the first time I talked to him by phone. I liked him after meeting him for the first time in his office. Our second meeting in his office I was pleasedd w/him and our appointment. This third time I've met w/him at the office I can truthfully say I REALLY like this doctor. Its tempting to tell him he is wasted as a specialist and should be a family doctor. He listens to the patient, he respects his patient's opinion about various suggested tests, procedures and medications and discusses the whys and wherefores of each. His office staff has been absolutely great as well. He's a keeper.

The first time I saw him he was pleasant, etc., his office staff have been GREAT! But today, our second visit I KNEW. He listens to his patients, he respects their decisions and thoughts on the matter ... he explains things and why, he seems to have the patience of Job. He doesn't rush his patients thru .. When I expressed reservations about a medication he suggested and expressed preference for another medication and why he was willing to work w/me w/the medication I felt more comfortable trying.
