Dr. Firoza Zaman Faruqui, DO

I went for my son 18 month visit. Told her I was not ready to give the MMR vaccine, since he stays at home with me and he does not go to any day care. Told her I would wait until he was 3 years old for this shot. She asked if I was ok giving the DTaP and Varicella and I said ok. She left and her nurse come back 5 minutes later with 2 shots. I asked "just to make sure, which ones are you preparing?". Her nurse, Allison, said " DTaP and Varicella". I said "Ok, then." She gave him the shots, hand me the paper work telling me what to do in case of side effects and left the room. The paper work she gave me was about the MMR, but I did not opened until I got home (that means: she knew she was giving him the MMR instead the Varicella). I was leaving with my baby boy when Dr. Faruqui called me and told me they made a mistake and gave him the MMR. I can't describe how angry I got after she told me this. I left the building in tears. How can a Dr. not only forget what I said 5 minutes ago, but… also disrespect my rights as a mother and put my son in risk giving him so many shots in the same day? And it got worse, because I called her manager, and he told me she did not gave the MMR, but she gave my son the MMRV, even worse. As a very careful mother, this was the worse experience I had since I became a mom. It was clear that they lied. How can her nurse confirm on my face she was giving the Varicella but hand me the paper of the MMR, when they gave the MMRV instead? My husband and I are going to report her to the The State Medical Board of Ohio. In case my son is diagnosed with any issue because the shots she and her nurse gave him without my permission, they are going to see us in court.
