She was able to look up prior record, to respond to questions I had. She filled out form while consulting me.

Dr Chan is very pleasant and professional. She explained everything and answered my questions. I have full confidence in her opinion and care.

This was my first time visiting Dr. Chan and I was disappointed. I had an 8 am appointment, thinking she would not be behind schedule because it was first thing in the morning. However, I had to wait in the exam room for about 10 minutes after being seen by the medical assistant. When she arrived I don't recall her saying anything about "nice to meet you, I'm Dr. Chan" or any kind of special interest in me as a new patient for her. I asked her questions about some of my blood work results and at times I felt dismissed and cut off. I had some concerns and wanted more of an explanation. It ended up that I felt rushed and I neglected to ask about all of the results. She didn't seem to care about my overall well-being. She didn't spend much time with me. Only checked my heart and my abdomen area and that was It. I don't feel like I received a good overall exam. She's not a good fit for me, unfortunately.

REally like Dr. Chan.

I feel she was very condescending. She stated I've gained weight. I told her I started taking GOLO she made a sour face and said stop taking that immediately - it is not FDA approved. So I asked her about the injections - she again made a sour face and said I don't qualify because I am not a diabetic but she said she wanted me today to have blood work done to see if I am pre-diabetic. I asked her for any recommendation - she made another face and said if you want to be on something Weight Watchers has the best plan... Dr Chan in may opinion showed no compassion. She seemed busy checking her boxes on the computer than "caring" for me. Body language also told me she was not open to me - she would cross her legs and wrap around twice and when not typing she would tightly cross her arms as if very cold.

In comparison to my former (now retired) primary care physician, Dr. Chan spent less time giving me my annual physical. Nevertheless, I found her to be professional, efficient, and friendly. I presume that she is limited in terms of the time she's able to spend, either because of insurance limitations or patient caseload.

My experience with Dr Chan was extremely frustrating. She flew into the exam room, barely greeted me, typed rapidly while she asked questions and her primary goal appeared to be to spend as little time with me as possible. Very disappointing. I will not go back.

It is May 2019. In spite of multiple calls to the office and a visit in person, I have not surmounted the barrier of receptionists and neither I nor my pharmacy received any response to my request for renewal of my prescription for the last six (6) days. Dr. Chang herself is a very competent and pleasant doctor, but her accessibility has diminished significantly over the last year due to dysfunction of the office support and reduced hours at the Qunnipiac Medical Group.

she is good for taking medical notes, that is about it! Not aggressive on treatment, seems content to just take notes. you almost have to tell her what to do
