Dr. Corrigan earned his medical degree at University of Pennsylvania. He performed his residency specialty training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Corrigan received a Health Professions scholarship from the United States Army. He served at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. , and in the 46th Combat Support Hospital in Operation Desert Storm. He was awarded both a Meritorious Service Medal and an Army Commendation Medal. Dr. Corrigan practiced Anesthesiology and Pain Management at First Health of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, North Carolina from 1991 until 2002. He served as Chief of Anesthesiology, and is recognized on the %u201CWall of Honor%u201D in the main lobby of the hospital. Dr. Corrigan founded Pinehurst Pain Clinic in 2002. Since that time, he has specialized his practice to Pain Management. Dr. Corrigan is Board Certified in Anesthesiology, and received his sub-specialty Certification in Pain Management in 1998. He lives in Pinehurst with his three children and his Yorkshire Terrier, Jolie. His hobbies include golf, travel, and gardening
