Dr. Francis DiSpaltro, MD

Dr Dispaltro is rude and nasty and is not knowledgeable. He will clearly misdiagnose a condition and get nasty when you question the ridiculous things he says. He doesn’t or likely can’t answer your questions and will get very nasty when you ask them. Absolutely the worst doctor I’ve ever been to!

If you want a cold, arrogant doctor who treats you like a burden for asking questions and seems to have one foot out the door the entire "exam" then Dr. Dispaltro is for you! Worst doctor I have seen in the past 15 years.

Cold. I learned nothing from the visit except there is a limit on the number of issues you can broach during the visit because they overbook. Must of been less than 5 minutes with the doctor.

My 4 years old son was suffering from eczema for about 6 months. I went in different doctors looking for help, even emergency room at Stony Brook when he was crying in pain. Yes, he used to have pain, his skin from all over body came to bleed from the wounds the eczema caused. All previous doctors didn't want give him a strong cream or medicine because they just are scare of give to a child something more effective, so all the stupids "doctors" just prescribed creams anti-itch and anti-allergic, what made me rip of one of those prescription in one of the "doctor" office and walk away with my son. I found Dr. Dispaltro online, was one more try to me, I would never give up to cure my son. At that point I already had lost my job for not been able to keep him in a day-care. Then he prescribed a foam to cover my son's skin, that hurt, my son cried, but after 2 applications there was no more pain, 2 days after there was no more itching, redness. There was just 2 visits in his office, the… first and another after 2 weeks to check results. Today he is 8 years old and this is just bad memories. I am glad I found a doctor who gave a strong medicine to cure, no those ones who prescribe Cortisone 1, 2, 5 or 100 that serves for nothing. I never had opportunity to go back there and he doesn't know, but he made me happy for help drying the tears of my son.

THE BEST DERMATOLOGIST EVER AND I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WITH SKIN ISSUES. HE SHOWS CONCERN AND IS WILLING TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND ANSWER QUESTIONS. FOR THE FIRST VISIT, I AM TOTALLY IMPRESSED. WE WILL CONTINUE WITH HIS RECOMMENDED TREATMENT FOR ACNE.

This doctor was not at all sensitive to my needs. I had to have a medical procedure done which was a very painful one. I had to convince him to give me a local anesthesia which he gave a very minute dosage of. I had to endure terrible pain during the procedure and he basically told me if I couldn't deal with the pain I could go somewhere else. Also, his medical assistant wasn't helpful at all. Before the procedure started she didn't check my vitals, weight, or height. After the ordeal was done, I was prescribed pain medication and an antibiotic, which had to be changed since I knew I was resistant to the antibiotic. Overall, this was the worst doctor experience of my life and I definitely do not recommend anyone to this doctor. This doctor cares more about quantity of patients rather than the quality they deserve. If you want to go to this doctor. Go at your own risk.
