I have known Dr Joseph for years and he has been my doctor. He is excellent in pain management. The negative comments are from patients that do not get narcotics because they are drug addicts

Doctor Joseph genuinely cares about his patients. I’ve been very ill for a long time and there are few other doctors that I felt like cared about me as a person like he did. He would always take the time to ask about how I spent my time. And I always smiled when I saw him because he is so knowledgeable and really understands complex illnesses. Having a doctor as intelligent and caring as him made me feel safer and made me feel that he wouldn’t miss something going on. I really miss him and wish he was still seeing patients in Colorado Springs. Such a compassionate and skilled physician!

I have seen Dr Joseph multiple times. He gets to the bottom line of all your problems and is diligent thorough and very detailed oriented. Unfortunately, he has a challenging group of patients who demand narcotics and I have seen and heard drug addicts in his waiting room wanting to write bad reviews if he does not give them narcotics. Have referred my friends and family and he is an excellent doctor. All of his NPs and PAs are excellent and well trained

I made a "New Patient" apt with Dr. Joseph, but never saw him. The specifically scheduled my appointment knowing he would be out of town during a different date, but apparently he was not available this day, either. I saw a NP, who during the appointment listened to my history and concerns and was very nice and personable. I immediately had referrals sent out and things looked good. Follow-up and contact is my biggest issue. I called multiple times to get the results of my tests and to date (90 days later) still have not received the results. I finally went to the imaging location to get the results of my ultrasound that confirmed what I expected. Furthermore, it took several calls to get my RX filled, but not through the mail order services as requested. Upon trying to have my RX changed through the mail order service, that service called me indicating they could not get hold of the physician. I don't know if the issue is the front desk/reception area or an overall… culture, but when you have concerns and paying quite a bit for health care, you expect some service and contact.

I've been a patient for over 4 years. It's changed since! I was able to call and the previous receptionists and they would answer the phones! It was great when PA Kiestly was there. It was run professionally! NOW...this place should be closed down. The calls are never answered! The receptionist is so rude, lies about faxing information needed to my other providers. I doubt she has a G.E.D! Benjamin Williams doesn't care about his patients. He rushes you out the door and doesn't write the correct scripts! Since these new staff members joined this Office, it's been downhilI ever since! I'm so happy I found a new provider who listens and cares about her patients!!! Who wants to go to a medical practice that treats you like garbage!

The worst now that this new wanna be Dr., Benjamin is a complete ,jerk. Pain mgmt? He's taking chronic pain patients off their pain meds and making them go to physical therapy~even though 1 patient is on oxygen and has a heart condition and uses a walker! That's the 6th referral I've brought in that's leaving this hack of a Dr.(office). disappointed beyond relief. I had no idea Dr..Joseph's was closing out his pain mgmt practice? I mean~cutting ppl off their meds with no warning? Find a different practice and run as fast as you can from this place! Esp. P.A.Williams!

Dr.Joseph was really great he asked questions about my family history and made decisions based off of that.He found problems before they became problems.He really went the extra mile with me.I would definitely recommend him to anybody.

Dr Joseph is brilliant competent. Compassionate and kind. He has a tough crowd of pain management patients - if the crack beads don’t get narcotics they write bad reviews. Been a patient of his for 5 yrs- he is Agi man

I never saw this doctor, but I think it totally fair to rate his “practice” in Pueblo, Colorado called “Springs Medical Associates where he is listed as the primary doctor. I drove 3.5 hours to see this Practice on a consult from my PCP. I don’t believe I ever saw a licensed doctor there, just nurses and a couple of Nurse Practicioners. I arrived at the office early and then was kept waiting for 2.5 hours! I was the absolute last person In the waiting room. Then the NP kept me waiting in the exam room, another 30 minutes! I kept my cool, even tho it was very upsetting. The so-called “Health Care Professional” was angry (Maybe because of her workload) and blamed me for my records not being available on her computer even though I handed a bunch of labs, etc to the receptionist now 3 hours prior! She had absolutely NO bedside manor, was rude and spoke to me as though I were a 6 year old. I am at least twice this woman’s age. What happened to common respect for those of us that… have managed to live this long! The whole fiasco was ridiculous, and I told them I would not be back. Most of their client “patients” appear to be homeless, or at least down-on-their-luck. It reminded me of one of those prescription “doctor mills” - businesses where drug addicts go to get a quick fix! Stay away from this practice. I say that without ever meeting Dr. Joseph (or any Dr.), but like I said ... it’s HIS practice!
