Dr. Francis Mark Senecal, MD

First met Dr. Senecal about two years ago when I was hospitalize for undiagnosed kidney failure. Apparently I was a very difficult case, for after 12-days in the hospital, several biopsies, bone marrow tests, and various scans, no diagnosis could be made. But Dr. Senecal never gave up, visiting me every day, and finally determining I had Hodgkin’s lymphoma (stage III). He was spot on, developed a special combination chemotherapy regimen for me, worked hand-in-hand with my kidney specialist and I am feeling well now. I feel fortunate to have him as my oncologist.

he made a correct, but frighten diagnosis. He designed the perfect chemo treatment for me and I got well from something I should not have gotten well from. I think he is skilled great, kind, friendly and very competent. Some times he runs a little behind, but,I think, he gives each patient the time they need and I can't begrudge him that.

Dr. Senecal is highly professional and obviously cares a lot about his patients. He is very willing to listen to and answer any questions. I think this is one reason why he sometimes falls behind in his schedule and the waiting times are more than expected. In my opinion, he's worth waiting for, though.

Dr Senecal seems like a competent doctor but the wait once you get there is not worth the treatment you get. I sat in an exam room for two hours and no one came in to let me know what or why the wait was so long.
