Dr. Frank Darrell Wade, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. WADE for about 20 years. I started with him when he was in Murfreesboro. There is no better primary care doctor than Dr. Wade. He is thorough, he listens, he follows up, and his office staff is kind. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr Wade is a very intelligent doctor with all the edu, and experience you would want.

He is horrible he wants to me to specialist for everything, and he won't write a prescription for the medications I need. I had to change PCP's.

For over a month I have had a low grade fever, and for over a year, bouts of dizziness and vertigo, we knew I had sinusitus, I've had it for years and they had my past medical records. So, he sent me to an ENT and I had sinus surgery. His refering me to other specialists (ENT, cardiologist, and neurosurgeon) is about the only good thing I've experienced. Neither he nor his young nurse pratictioner seem to REALLY listen. The last time I saw DR. Wade he mentioned the possibility of fibromyalgia, which is a disease of exclusion, and or if they have no other answers for your symptoms. A guess, if you will. My list of symptoms is long, and growing, including the swollen left neck I've had the last 3 days. The nurse practitoner did a so called physical on me, and didn't even do a breast exam! (I'm a 30 y/o female.)I also enquired about a lead poisoning test because symptoms started to get worse after I moved in to this old house- she didn't even know what it was or if they did that kind of… blood test! Her answer to my symptoms, including the ongoing fever, was abunch of sighing and "I don't know, I think they correlate with each other." My mother had cancer, and it runs in my family. Hello? She then said to go to my ENT, and "ask him." I would not recommend him, and I'm on the search for a new doc. Again, I do thank him for the referrals, but as far as everything else is concerned with diagnosing a problem. BAD.
