This doctor treated my brother with no respect when he went to the St Clair ER because of his shortness of breath and high fever due to Covid 19. He did NOTHING! This doctor humiliated and embarrassed him for going to the ER and sent him home. A few days later, we had to convince my brother to go back to the ER where he was diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs. Avoid this doctor if you have an urgent medical issue! I would rate him zero stars if I could. No one deserves to be treated like this when they are scared and sick.

I just wanted to take a moment to give a shoutout to the St. Clair Hospital Emergency Room. On Monday, my five year old fell off the couch and hit his head on our fireplace hearth. I was home alone with him. He got a pretty nasty little gash on the back of his head. At the ER, we met Dr. Frank Lozar. He was absolutely wonderful at making both of us feel comfortable. He and my son were chatting it up the whole visit. After he put in three staples with no tears whatsoever, he sat and talked with him for another twenty minutes. After they discussed all aspects of Halloween and determined that they both like Skittles, he left the room. He came back in with a bag of Skittles and sat and shared the bag with my son. The incident was unfortunate but ended with such a pleasure to meet Dr. Lozar. If you ever experience the same, please know that you will be in great hands.

Didn’t take the time, bedside manner bad. Misdiagnosed me, left the hospital feeling like I did when I went in. Runaway if he is there. You’d get better care elsewhere.
